I'm not looking for a PS3.

I've found a Denon for around $250 which seems to be very good. And the reviews I've read say its responsiveness is quicker than any other player out there. But the 2500 model doesn't support BD-live (profile 2.0)

General consensus about Sony players is that they tend to be the worst. Rather amusing considering its their technology.

Anyone here have a player (other than ps3) that they've had good luck with? Budget I would like to keep under $250.

I have a Magnavox. Works pretty good, got it on sale at Wal-Mart for $150. The only downside is that it doesn't allow all that BRLive crap or whatever it's called, which is no big deal because I don't buy a film for the special features.

Temporarly away from the Phoenix Sentry.
