If you've not heard of Canadian Tire, it's one of if not the largest vehicle / outdoors / tool stores in Canada (they're as common as walmarts out here).

Anyways, I had designed a logo to represent all of Canada for an assignment last year in college. The teacher liked it so much he kept it for this year to show his new students. It was on display a few weeks ago and someone from corperate events in my college noticed it and immediately asked if they could use it as an award for a galla they put on every year. The award was for Canadian Tire in commemoration for their Jump Start Charity helping kids go to camps in the summer.

Anyways long story short I got $300 out of it, I still have full rights to my image if I want to sell it later, it's now hanging in the head office at Canadian Tire in Toronto, and was presented in front of over 650 attendees. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go to the actual event, but its still pretty cool so I thought Id post here.

Im also in the newspaper in Oakville (where my college is) for it .

Just thought Id brag for a bit .

Brag away, you've earned it!

Looks cool, I can make out a mountie c/w horsie, sailing boat, some old womans head, the shack where they found those bodies, and a little fella playing hockey. Just the sort of thing that looks good behind a big, corporate desk.

I was logged into my dad's account to download the Bonanza pack I had just purchased, forgot to log out and made the post on his account. So yeah, this is really my artwork . Thanks VanB.

Congrats-- I was going to say I've never heard of Paul Feld. Using the old "it was my brother/girlfriend/parent's account" excuse, eh?

Kidding.

Congrats on the artwork. You should show us a bigger version
