the last few generations, windows has been more family orientated, including support for multiple users.

Being the only person to use my pc, i'm wondering how to set up windows (in this case windows 7) to optimize for single-user use, as i cant help but think that the support for multiple users isn't the most efficient use of the OS.

for example, when i install a program and it says "install for [just this user/all users]" and im the only user, which is the more efficient installation?

You can disable the fast user switching service, I guess.

Air cooled, total cost £160
