Hey Jeku, I would love one if there are any left. Got a dev going on at the moment with a few people and this would help marvellously.

I would love to have an invitation. It looks like Jeku doesn't have enough to go around, so Lemonade, would you kindly send me one? Cheers.

Just sayin, i leave my google wave window up all the time i'm online, and it'd be cool if other people did the same. A bunch of 10 minute windows where one person is online at a time doesn't work!

Check your Google Wave inbox. If you have a wave that says "Invite others to Google Wave" then your good to go.

2 invites left!

Strange, mine didn't come through. Do they take a while to get sent or should it be instantaneous? Cause there's nothing in my inbox so far...

My invite took like 3-4 days from the day I got my invite.

Is it possible the invited can't invite?

Same for me and I've have mine for a few days now. A google search brings up a tutorial and it shows that their invite email appears 1 hour after their Welcome email.

Still not got mine. Odd. Because I want to spread Google Wave across my storytelling group to get a good board for discussion, event planning, workshops and general organisation.

@ Darth, it's sent!

@ Seppuku, I believe he was talking about the actual Google Wave invitation from me, not the wave from Google with 20 invites.

That's what I was thinking...dunno.

Aha, I found this message from Google:

Quote: "As soon as we're confident that the system can accept more users, we will add a wave to your account that allows you to nominate friends and colleagues for an account. Once you have the capability to invite people, the wave appear in your inbox."

I got a wave invitation a while back, and it looked awesome in the video demo.

BUT, it is only really awesome if you have someone to share and edit docs with. All by itself it's pretty depressing. It's a glorified sticky note pad until you get friends and projects to work on. Unfortunately my friends and I don't have any mutual projects, and even if we did they aren't the organized types who would even manage a shared document anyway....

Anyway, I can spare a few of my invites once Lemonade runs out.

I think it does have a lot of potential. Imagine using GW for a writing class. You and your class-mates could collaborate real-time on projects and get work done ultra fast.

For some reason my inbox is telling me I have three unread messages, but I can't find 'em!

Have a look in the 'by me' section of the navigation panel.

Hmm...nope, nothing new in there. Still says I have a couple to read. Maybe it's just a bug!

No problem! You really need to try it with other people. By itself it's not so great.
