epic, general jackson, nice job! hope to see some darkAI battles in this one. anyways, yes. It is quite empty, but that big empty space could be filled with enemies and allies, and make for a pretty awesome battle scene. perhaps add some more large cover-objects for scenery and functionality. I also love the tommy gun rig.

What's with that massive shadow in the middle. I can't see anything casting it, unless your light is at an angle. Anyways, add some scenery to that, with some large objects for cover and some small objects for details.

nice work on the newer pics, the m1 fits well. If I were you, I'd put some enemies in, or put some more detail in, so far, it looks kinda clear.

I actually considered replacing it with a diveroll, but it looked stupid In Game when strafing enemies performed a perfectly executed sideways roll every 3 seconds. or every time they were shot. also, the knee got all pointy, which I couldn't fix due to my lack of 3d modelling skill.

THe screenshots look promising (they alwyas do....) - I'll wait for a demo level to give some C&C

EDIT: somehow I dont get the Stalingrad screenshot. In a game the airplanes would be hanging in the air and the explosion decal would look weird repating itself over and over again. Is this really supposed to be a game or just a fancy screenshot collection?

Second shot reminds me of the MOHAA Anzio multiplayed map.

Jeku always gets drunk and tries to Moderate the ocean. Tirelessly slapping the waves as they roll in.

The lightning and scenery look a tad bland, but considering it's still a WIP this might just turn into something great.

2 new stalingrad screens uploaded.
BTW would any offense be taken if the player was a Nazi for the russian campaign? (your a different guy in each one)
Cuz where as the Nazis were evil, Russia was far worse.

Again with airplanes hanging in the air? There is no way your game will look like in the screenshots. More like a 3D museum of WW2....

Sorry but that has to be a joke.

The pictures show that the airplanes are in combat positions, either diving for some machinegun(?) shooting or climbing away in a curve(!). If you actually scripted airplanes to move in dives and climbs and that in addition in CURVES you achieved more than any other member of this community did before - which I dont belive. Apart from the fact, that the airplanes have to move Also there has to be an enginesound moving with the airplanes, which also would be very, very hard to achieve.

I checked the other WIP threads you opened before and I dare to say that you are just posting screens of a game you never even intend to build that way because you know, that you cant. Why you do this I dont understand....

Looks awesome really like what you've done. Can't wait for a demo.

BTW I personally would not take any offense if the player was a Nazi what happened in WW2 is what happened and theirs no changing that so to me their is no harm in being a Nazi as a character.

Good.
Same here.
I dont even think all nazis were evil, many of them did not even know about what Hitler was up to til after the war, and they were disgusted when they found out.

A good book on it is called "Black Edelweiss" by Johanne Voss.

And I'm glad you like the looks of the game! I am waiting on Daniel Wright to release the ww2 guys of his talking people pack before a demo

1. Posting faked screenshots and collecting pats on the back for them is wrong.

2. Don't you wonder why I am judging your WIP so harsh, while I compliment so much other work and give so many other posters encouragement?

3. Eventually we'll find out if there ever will be a demo

watch your level design, GJ. that last one didn't look too promising.

first off, the roadway that you were on led to a wall, and people wishing to enter the door would have to walk through the tall grass? fix that. make the path go to the door.

secondly, I see some lightmapping errors up above the windows.

Very good point about the path, thanks.
As for the lightmapping error, that is on quick lightmapping, will not be there when I build the game.
I have fixed the screen now on full lightmapping, path leads to door now.
Enjoy

I've found that it's always best to complete your game in the engine it starts in, and if it's really hard, then it;s a learning experience.

you haven't seen half a dozen announcements for making a game, a constant "I'm moving to a new engine" - "No, wait, I decided to stay" and several faked screenshots from me either

Quote: "I dont care what you think, and even if it never does, well, many other games dont either."

true, but you post screenshots while being fully aware that a finished game will NEVER look like them and so obviously are not planning to do a real game. You do it just for the attention.
