Dark GDK .NET / SetDisplayMode creates extra Window

I have a bizarre scenario where the SetDisplayMode command creates an extra window. This window won't display, I just get the title bar, border, and it just hangs. The original application keeps running, but we now have this rogue window. The screenshot below shows the line of code, and Task Manager with the additional window highlighted in green...fMain is the actual application.

Interesting, I was going to see how this would work but for some reason DarkGDK crashes when I call Core.Sync() after setting the display mode.

EDIT: My bad, apparently DarkGDK is a bit picky on WHEN you call this command. But it doesn't seem to create a phantom window on my PC.

Hi Guys,

Is it just me or when you Set the DisplayMode the game gets SLOWER?.

I can confirm though that when you use Alt+Ctrl+Delete on Windows 7/Vista it will also create an extra window that renders completely blank.
