And it's a pile of rubbish. I got that once or twice in Chrome but I don't think there was actually anything there, so...

Probably infected adverts. Gizmodo had some for a time.

Athlon64 2.7gHz->OC 3.9gHz, 31C, MSi 9500GT->OC 1gHz core/2gHz memory, 48C, 4Gb DDR2 667, 500Gb Seagate + 80Gb Maxtor + 40Gb Maxtor = 620Gb, XP Home
Air cooled, total cost £160

I've been getting that one a lot... Probably someone using that site to host their signature or their own website somewhere.

Guilty by association? Have the Spyware conspiracy theorists gone too far? Are search engines listing your site as "Dangerous", driving away possibly millions of visitors a day, and at what cost to you? Don't miss our slightly embellished and exaggerated coverage of "Your site could be next on the list".

Tonight at 11:00.

Question: Is this a lawsuit waiting to happen?

Is it the search engine that says that? I thought it was just a Chrome thing.

Even if the ones who hosts this website host another site for malware, it dosent mean that TGC contains it.
I agree with Xpolsys, "ANTI SPYWARE" theorists is stretching the limit a bit to far.

Just a thought

I think what the message is saying is that there is content on this site which comes from another site which has been tagged as malicious. As someone already said, perhaps an image. I don't think it has anything to do with the host, but that may be next.

@Pincho Paxton,
Is that a browser message or from some other software program?

Brian.

It's a message from Chrome. It means someone's using an avatar or signature image hosted on the named site. In turn, someone with the same host is hosting infected files. So it's a 3rd generation error message.

This site can only render images from other sites, not files. Even PHP -generated images are filtered for anything malicious.
