I'm remembering back to those days when I was a complete newbie, and DBP was so cool (although it still is). Now I know quite a bit, although not everything. I wish I could go through the process of relearning everything again! What should I do? Hit my head?

I hope I am not alone in this terrible state of mind.

The simple way would be not use it for about six months, then you'll be back in newbie land only this time you be saying I should know how to do this grr.

I guess learning GDK as it contains most of DBP's Commands, but with extras, and the fact you can use a MUCH BETTER IDE with it.

I felt the same way after 3 years of using Game Maker The first game I ever made was so satisfying, now the game that WAS satisfying I could make in a few minutes. But, I guess when someone gets that feeling like they want to go back, then it's a good sign that they should move onto something bigger and better (Such as UDK or Unity)

I'm buggered then.

Though I think I can still remember.

You could transfer all your knowledge to me! I'd take it gladly!

This actually makes me laugh cause it happened to me! I left Dark Basic programming for about 8 months and when I came back I got so frustrated that a FUNCTION wouldn't work. Then after looking on the forum, I realised I forgot to actually use the command FUNCTION...

I have an idea - have you ever seen eternal sunshine of the spotless mind? (Surprisingly good, actually...)
All you need to do is invent that sort of technology, and you're set. Simple.

You just have to keep at it - there's probably tons of great stuff left to find in DBPro. Hell, I've been using DBPro from practically day 1 and I still have tons of things to experiment with and learn. DBPro is changing all the time, nobody ever learns it completely, which is fine as long as you keep up to date with what's changed or changing.

If your really bored and want something to get your teeth into, and are stuck for a xmas present idea - then why not get a pair of those VR specs, and make a VR world game, or adapt an existing game for VR. These oppurtunities are opening up - I mean those specs cost about £200, for a VR headset that works with DBPro!. If you stop learning, you've stopped trying.
