No, this is not a game I made or have any affiliation with... besides loving it (that's normal... right?)

Anyways, the game is Universe Sandbox. It's a gravitational simulator, with a particle system that delivers awe inspiring results. Look at this screenshot:

It's a picture of andromeda, with the maximum number of particles.

It's a real time sim, and you can launch galaxies towards each other; like this:

If that's too big, you can zoom in to a more familiar level, creating solar systems

Or maybe you just want to see cool, gravity-related formations?

Or any of these things:

There's some really cool stuff in this game. It's at [href]UniverseSandbox.com[/href]

There's a free 1 hour demo, and you can buy it for as little or as much as you want.

Here's a video i made after a couple hours tinkering with it:

and here's a video of two galaxies colliding:

WHOA

Now I'm wondering if the 3d glasses are worth going the full $25 . . . either way I'm definitely throwing money in their direction, that is so cool!

Ha! cool! I made a binary solar system, with the sun orbiting Rigel, the earth (and some moons) orbiting the sun, and jupiter w/ some moons orbiting rigel, really far away. It looks like jupiter'll crash into rigel though, and go right through the path of the sun... I'll post screenies later
