I've heard this loads over the years, always on adverts for alien or ufo or supernatural type programmes. I'm sure at one point I knew who it was by, but not anymore. Anyone have a clue? I want to use it in some film projects.

I've knocked together a really simple MP3 with a sine wave playing the part of the melody I remember. I've added a random breakbeat, which the tune I'm thinking of has.

I reckon it has to be an old breakbeat style tune. DJ Shadow kinda style. In fact, I'll check out DJ Shadow now, just incase it's him ...

MP3 attached.

I have pretty much the same problem on my laptop, i get about 40fps normally, even in a blank loop, ive never really bothered about it though, as no matter what i do with it, it always seems to stick around 40
And for the record, no i dont have 'sync rate 40' anywhere in my code
