Hey, I'm getting a Xbox 360 Elite for christmas, and i was just wondering if anybody has guitar hero world tour?

I'm probably going to get told guitar hero 5 is out, but lets be frank, the music on there is utter crap

What do you think of it?
Has anybody got the full set of this game?

Agreed. I think that the set list on World Tour is very good, probably the best since Neversoft took over. However I would highly recommend Rock Band 2.

That is Band Hero. Metallica are pop, by the way. Their first three albums are the only ones that have actual music on them, after that they became sell-outs.

Metallica aren't pop by any stretch of the imagination. Well unless you only divide things up into pop and classical, maybe showtunes as well. They may have become more commerial/successful/accessible/whatever, but in the Britney sense of the word, you're talking rubish.

Look at it this way...
Kill 'em All = classic
Ride the Lightning = classic
Master of Puppets = classic
After these three albums, they got a taste of being popular, they appeased to people by putting out ...And Justice for All. Which really is not a good album. The Black Album was purely appealing to what people wanted to hear. Listen to it, there is nothing new, nothing showing them experimenting or playing real music. After the Black Album? Can anyone honestly say that they like Load, Re-Load, St. Anger, or Death Magnetic musically, or lyrically? Anyway, I don't want to start a flame war, so I will redirect the thread back to it's topic of do people like the set-list of World Tour.

I see your point, but it's still metal, no matter your opinion on their motives. Like Master best though... great album

...And Just for All is one of my favorite albums by Metallica. And calling Metallica "pop" is seriously messed up. It's like calling classical music, black metal. Or calling a pencil an ice cream cone.

Yes. I can. Call me a fanboy, but I like every single album of them...

Wikipedia?

And yes - IMO it's pretty worth buying if you aren't going to buy DLC. It's far worse than RB2, but the on-disc setlist is nice...

Better than that dull-sounding, tinny Black Album garbage.
