This SEEMS like the most appropriate place to post this... if not somebody let me know...
So, I am a public school teacher (Have taught both middle school and high school) and also teach / instruct in a Master's Degree Program for people becoming teachers in both a regular in-class environment and online. I have years and years of experience / training / knowledge of student learning behaviors / principles etc. AND I have used a LOT of games, simulations, etc. in the classroom. Some are good, most are bad... but there is A LOT of potential, and market share for new educational products in the educational arena. Without going into too much detail here, I am looking for a few (2-4) people with programming / game / networking knowledge to combine with my educational / learning principle knowledge to create a new venture in educational sims / games. I dealing with the educational field as long as I have, in as many places as I have, I know that I am in a unique position to take your skill set and my skill set together to create something really cool, enjoyable, and valuable to the K-12 public / private/ homeschool market (Which is obviously billions...)
This is not an offer of a job, there is NO money upfront (Although I bring to the table some, and does another person who would be involved), instead this is an offer of eventual equity (Split evenly across the board with the people involved) in anything produced. This is a LONG TERM, slow paced (We all work full time jobs, as I would assume you would be doing something similar (Full time student etc.) endeavor that could ultimately lead to something really cool!
I will say this up front, this is NOT going to be a FPS of any sort, and one of our goals is to have the games have a heavy reliance on economics, trade, collaborative teamwork, in either a LAN environment and / or internet game play (BUT not necessarily massively multi-player...)

If you have any interest at all, email me and maybe include a bit about yourself, experience, knowledge, and MAYBE if you can, a couple screen shots of some of the work you have done in the past.
