I was just wondering how many country's there are still using the Longwave AM band? we still use it here in england but theres only one English station broadcasting, which is BBC Radio 4 and theres one foreign station that its possible to pickup but its in French or something. I also wonder if there is much capacity of the band (how many stations can broadcast using the band at the same time?) i assume its not many as radio 4's station takes up quite a big chunk on the dial. Another thing I was wondering is how attractive is it to pirates as I don't imagine OFCOM put much effort into monitoring it and a lot of people still posses equipment that it capable of picking it up.

Merry Xmas everyone ^^
