What spell checker? The one that is most likely part of your browser and not the forums?

This is one particular area where OS X rox0rz, because the spell checker is global on every text box. You don't need it per-app (Something I'm surprised Win. doesn't do yet....)

I can't get it to work with the Adobe suite under OS X. Only Illustrator includes one and it has to be manually invoked.

Athlon64 2.7gHz->OC 3.9gHz, 31C, MSi 9500GT->OC 1gHz core/2gHz memory, 48C, 4Gb DDR2 667, 500Gb Seagate + 80Gb Maxtor + 40Gb Maxtor = 620Gb, XP Home
Air cooled, total cost £160

Because they're using Carbon (i.e. Adobe is stupid) - which is also why there's no 64 bit edition for OS X

I'm not even sure there's a 64-bit version of Photoshop for Windows yet. At least that's what Adobe told us this past summer when we called about PS for XP 64.

Install an English dictionary then? Make sure it's 'UK', otherwise it may contain bad spellings such as 'color'.

I have a few English dictionaries installed - UK English, US English, and French.
