Hi,

I have created this new TGC toolbar. Please install it and let me know what you think. What ideas do you have for it?

I'm tweaking as I go. Just added links to the key forum sections and have also added game dev products menu.

Do you plan to make a Google Chrome toolbar?

Hi, we don't actually do the plug-in work, this is all done by Conduit. Now that Chrome has extensions I'm sure they will release one soon.

Currently this is what it does;
Menu links to key products
Menu links to key forums
Links to Game Creator Store page
Link to newsletter page
Twitter link
Facebook group link
You Tube channel

I know that's mainly links but it is early days and I'm looking to hear back from people as to what they might like to see in it.

Just downloaded and installed. I use Mozilla Firefox. Since I have a personalized bookmark toolbar I was able to quickly go to the web pages I want. Looking forward to trying it out.

EDIT:

Actually I used the toolbar for the first time by accessing Geek Culture to check if there was a thread for the toolbar.

I'm shocked that TGC would put out this bloatware. As a Desktop Engineer I always cringe when I find out that a user had installed one of these. I have to go in and un-install this crap.

Yeah, this seems to be an odd route TGC are taking, especially after the exception bout of iphone games they were bringing out this seems an direct 180.
