for some odd unknown reason, every single one of my photoshop files has chosen to change it's icon to a random one from the default explorer set.
this is obviously wrong, and i am not sure how to fix it. I've restarted, and the problem continues.
could anyone who knows anything about it please help?
I'm worried it's a virus, and it is annoying, even if my file that contained a scanned-in phone booklet page humorously decided to display a phone icon...

I once had this back in the 98 days - if I had a load of windows open (talking 30+) it'd start to mix up icons as if I hit the overflow of some archaic integer somewhere.

Athlon64 2.7gHz->OC 3.9gHz, 31C, MSi 9500GT->OC 1gHz core/2gHz memory, 48C, 4Gb DDR2 667, 500Gb Seagate + 80Gb Maxtor + 40Gb Maxtor = 620Gb, XP Home
Air cooled, total cost £160

I've seen this happen a few times over the years of using Windows. Normally, a restart resolves the issue.

Yeah, the new Windows Live versions cause all sorts of problems.
To and fro, my sound dies, and doesn't come back until Live is closed.
