Come on guys, you all got one, what was it? Mine was a Bob The builder bubble bath, not really appropriate for a 40 year old.

Dude what are you saying! That's amazing! I want it!

And I think mine was all pretty good. Did get a soft-toy-meets-football style thing, which considering I'm not exactly sportsman of the year was probably not the most natural choice - but I actually quite like it.

EDIT: Also it'll mean when I go back to uni we can play footie in our corridor again, but this time without knocking the light off the ceiling.

Well, I got a Muse CD, an Incubus CD, "Up", and the Bamboo Pen tablet that I'm writing this with. So I guess the worst one was the package of mixed nuts from my uncle.

A picture of a hoodie that didn't arrive yet... I thought it was something big and expensive... like a scooter. Didn't really get any great presents suiting a geeky teenager like me, but who cares... it's the giving that counts, not what you get.

Best.

It's very good to know all links to Youtube that contain Rick-rolls. Sadly I don't.

You don't need a dog - you can eat it yourself. Is it the dry stuff or in a can? Either way it's darn nutritious stuff. Although kibble for dogs tastes exactly the same as cat food.

If its a can one, then never tried any, I have tried the dog treats which include ash as an ingredient, but i didn't like it, If its proper dog biscuits, then they will properley be like...Biscuits and fine, so have a go

Worst present? Trivial pursuit cards for starwars. Ignoring the fact i dont have trivial pursuit or the fact i dont pertically like starwars... Or the fact it was my dad who bought me them along with "knicknacks". Or the fact that his partners son got a £300 phone...

Yeah thats probably the worst for me.

Tra lalalalala

Seriously though i would never complain to anyone about giving me a present, its the giving that counts. Though i did break a knuckel gripping the case trying not to punch him in his face, I recommended a stress ball this year ^_^"

*Back to his own world*

Hmm venge which muse ablum was it? Resistance, absolution or order of symettry? ethier way i bought them all within a space of a month.

Ohh and lil mario? can you send me that dog food? i am currently to lazy to walk to the shops.

OK, but if you receive a yo-yo in the mail, I might have accidentally mixed up the two...

And my sister got a Wii. From the same person who gave me the dog food. People these days...

I take it your glass is half empty, Nickydude?

But I'll bite.

Worst Christmas Present: A bottle of posh rum soaked beer or Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey

I don't drink beer
I got Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey last Christmas.

But it's the thought that counts. I mean I like rum and Bill & Ted are awesome.

My worst christmas present? Learning that I'll be spending Christmas and New Years alone and that I was forgotten when people were buying presents. T_T

Ahh, but you need to have both perceptives in this world, ^_^ Though since it was all in jest and to laugh at past experiences, are you not a pesimist for assuming the worst of this thread?

Look on the brighter side, the money you save can go towards having a good few nights out. Dont wait for good times, go find them ^_^
Ive esaily spent more that what i recived this year, but it does seem sad that you dont get to see family

Ahh i what to try contacts, especially the themed types, id have the cats eye and lizard eye or the red highlight dots. They look soo cool <3 and be very fun on a night out, very fun indeed ^_^

Seems buffering is completed, bye bye

Lol your mom is quite funny, but did she have a reason as to why she gave it to you I really can't imagine a mom saying "my son is 40 he needs bob the builder bubble bath." :S although I would have to say the worst present I have ever gotten was a comb.

To be fair, my worst was my Gran collapsing on Christmas Eve and spending Christmas in hospital (got me especially worried as my Grandpa on the other side of the family died on the 5th), but she seems to be recovering. Was not good being drip fed information about how she was found and suchlike though. She could manage full sentences and suchlike though by the end of Christmas and she seems to be coming on in leaps and bounds. She won't be out for another week or two, but she's recovering.

I get the virtually the same thing every year. T-shirt, plus same brand of after shave. Still got a handful of them in the cupboard.

Hmm, I'd have to say my worst gift is what I didn't get; a book on programming in C#. Then, as for what I did get, I'd have to say the worst of that was Axe body wash. Sure, it smells great and is excellent soap, but it's still soap. However, I am very difficult to shop for, so I don't mind it at all. In fact, I was pretty humored.

This year among a lot of things, I got Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the PSP, from my dad.

Too bad he was with me when we got my PSP and a game - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

That is a mega lame gift! lol. Who gave you that?

All mine were OK this year, though I'm old enough now to have no excitement or expectations whatsoever. This is a pretty poor 'worst' present, but my grandma gave me a huge box of marzipan fruits, and I hate marzipan. That's it. Nothing worse than that!

Sounds good to me! I don't wear specs, but I probably use your obscenely heavy glasses holder to bludgeon an intruder if someone breaks in.

Lol, this thread is amusing, that's for sure. You guys sure got some funky things. Dog food without a dog? Bob the builder shampoo? lol.

I guess mine was getting some candy. Was just a bit odd to me. Plus I'm trying to watch my weight a little. I still liked it though. And it's the giving that counts. I'll just regive it a way to my friends the next few days lol.

Maybe they were hinting that you smell bad and need a girlfriend? The commercials claim Axe will make you instantly desirable to the fairer sex!

I quite liked all my presents.

I got two square-1s, a sweater vest, a Direct3D 10 book, an asus 19" wide screen monitor, and the art of problem solving 1 and 2. I think I had a great set of presents.

I did get socks, though. But I need socks. So I was happy.

Axe is just Lynx in America, for some reason it's called something different here in the UK. Same product different names.

My worst present is also my best present because I only got 1 present. My mom bought me a blanket..... again. Last year she bought me a space heater, which considering I had no heat and slept on a floor the entire winter it was actually the best present ever.

Yes, definitely about the needing-to-smell better part. The body wash I had been using before Axe didn't last very long (a couple of hours at most), so yeah. About the girlfriend, though...I'll work on that after we move.

Really expensive cologne that I actually thought smelled pretty good, but it turns out the second I put it on my girlfriend couldnt stand the way I smelled. Told me to go have a shower as I smelt like fish. There goes that.

Could always get a new girlfriend that likes it... hmm...

Anyways cant complain, I got Left 4 Dead 2, An Intuos4 Wacom Tablet and a bottle of Polar Ice Vodka... thats already done.

Huh, I didn't know that, I thought Axe and Lynx were two seperate brands

Meh, I didn't really get much for christmas... because my real christmas gift is a trip to japan!!! ...well, I have to pay off $1000 of it, but the rest is a christmas and birthday gift.

I did get a passport neck holder (neck passport holder would probably more correct) and a travel bag for bathroom supplies, along with a bag of circuitry stuff my parents let me pick out from radio shack, and the standard shirts n stuff. It was a fun christmas.

So... if I had to pick a worst gift, it would be the travel bag for bathroom supplies. It's like an overpriced 2 cent plastic baggie... but don't tell my mom that
