Im not sure were exactly I should have posted this, but if 3D chat is a better place, it would be great if a mod could move it.

It would nice if you realized that what I'm advertising for is tutorials that are aimed towards helping, and if you are so concerned about spamming just don't post and let a mod decided that, you are obviously not one and for good reason.

Typically members around here know the rules and often voice them when somebody does something that's generally not allowed, generally to inform...though I think sometimes it can be to be a know it all. Though the 'you are obviously not one and for good reason' remark is a bit of a burn isn't it? No offense, but that doesn't really sell your tutorials to me...whilst yes, it is to help people, but so's every other 3D tutorial website/blog out there.

In some cases people get away with showing off their website, but generally when it can't be considered spam - back when I was working on 3D stuff, I had my own tutorials and posted quite a lot in 3D chat, so my tutorials essentially become a part of my trying to contribute to the 3D chat section, so I did link offsite. Some regular users might post a link to get feedback on their website. Just to let you know, spam will generally get a bad reception, spam on most places I think is considered 'bad' - people get enough advertisement in the world, so I suppose we're entitled to get a little mad.

You might want to post this sort of thing in 3D chat, as that's where all of the 3D modelling and animation stuff is discussed.

It was only a joke, but this is the TGC forums, and you are trying to sell tutorials for 3DS Max software
Quote: "We currently only have 3Ds max tutorials"
obviously not TGC software, so it really doesn't belong in TGC.

I guess you really didn't read my last post. 3D chat is where you ought to look for giving people help and tutorials, but anything treated as spam, isn't liked. Just in general.

I did have a look, and you might find a couple of 3Dchatters who need help with 3DSMax, once in a while we see, "I'm new with 3DSMax", though it's often questionable how they obtained a copy.

Because you know how to use it, you might find people will appreciate any tips, comments and advice from someone who knows how to use 3DSMax and you may wish to lurk around 3Dchat for that purpose.
