Portable game systems, BOOKS (seriously, I'm not joking, there are good books to read out there), studying a bit more, being studious during the time of your freeness, and studying...or possibly just bring along an MP3 player. Those are just a few ideas.

OOh, those'd be good too. Guitar's a great instrument to play! And it will make the girls like you (assuming you're a dude, like the other 98.99% here).

I had the same problem in the sixth-form. I caught up on my reading and wrote a book.

I just used to go to the pub. Course I used to do that when I was supposed to be in lessons anyway, so maybe my advice isn't the most sound...

Does the school have a computer lab? Just put DB on thumb drive, I've done that before.

Definitely. Coming from someone with 0% music talent .

Personally, I'd find somewhere to sleep, but that's just me. There's always something to fill time, so you should find something constructive to do before pointless things waste all this free time. Learning guitar sounds like a good way to kill 3 hours.

Musical instrument would be best (imo). Anything creative and productive you can do. Something fun which betters yourself. Or earns you money.

Set up an illegal cage fighting championship in the lofts above the gyms, and charge people to watch. Maybe take bets. Be an entrepreneur. Create catapults capable of launching a fully grown adult over the entire school. Build a robot like Sir Killalot from Robot Wars and use it to take over the cafeteria. Build a life-size replica of the Eiffel Tower out of matchsticks. Spend your free time every week constructing an elaborate sand castle with life-sized furniture, then report yourself to the council for lack of a planning permit and watch them tear it down. Develop a drug habit, and then replace the addiction with polos. Learn to play a sport to an olympic standard, but never show anybody else. Import large quantities of obscure tropical vegetables and attempt to sell them to friends. Start a cult. Create a vast network of online self-help schemes. Design the perfect sandwich. Learn to dance tap or ballet, then try and use it in a club. Learn to breakdance, and then use it in a traditional performance of Swan Lake. Make a stop-motion animated cartoon using only carefully arranged pieces of string and spaghetti. Draw the same picture every 2 minutes until it looks identical and can be done with your eyes closed. Look for a list of things like rubbing your stomach and patting your head, and perfect them so you will never be embarrassed. Set a world record. Create a forest on a desk for toy dinosaurs to live in out of papier mache. Learn the list of ways to employ Wal-Mart employees off by heart. Learn the complete works of Shakespeare backwards. Learn another language. Then refuse to speak English any more. Knit yourself an entire wardrobe. Write a novel. Write poetry. Write down all of your feelings. Pour your heart and soul into your writing. Then burn it all. Bring a soldering iron and electronic circuitry into your common room, then start stealing odd things from around the school to create your own super electronic device. The possibilities are endless.

@demons breath

wow..that's so many things to do..
I think learning a new language would be interesting like Japanese perhaps..I always hear that multilingual people tend to become smarter because they can think up different words and sentences in different grammars. A good mental exercise.

You have many interesting suggestions demons breath..Thank you..

If your school has banned chocolate and other unhealthy food then you could set up a business selling chocolate at crazy prices. Someone did that in a UK school and made amazing money, until the school found out and he was forced to shut down his operation..

How about singing lessons? There is no other feeling like singing, especially with other people (In harmony), it gives you such a rush.

I'm not talking about Choir Music, but things like Barbershop, and just singing with another person is one of the best experiences I've ever had.

You will not believe how good it makes you feel, and its easier than it looks.

I waste it by sleeping. If I do anything that's even remotely interesting, I fall asleep. -_-

Hit the weight room, get some muscles. Then you'll be all sexy by spring when the girlies start wearing their short shorts and sun dresses. Mmmm.

@Michael P
The school doesn't ban chocolates. They ban sharp objects. Maybe i should try selling daggers and knives in school.
Just joking.

Hmm..Going to the gym and building some muscles..That would be cool too..But Im a bit lazy..Maybe i should try the sleeping..but then again im not being productive..

Maybe i should make my game designs during my free time. And make some concept art for a game. In that way, i can brainstorm new ideas and pick the best idea for a game. And while doing that, Ill sing and play mp3 music..

Either work out or hit the PS3 (and sometimes I'll do both simutaniously ). Or sometimes I'll do some modeling on the computer, and check out the forum in between.

Why not write your memoires on paper? By the time you're finished, you'll have a grey beard, and you could sell it (your book, not your beard).

Just kidding!

For writing games, you don't need your laptop, hey? Write your code and ideas on paper, and then try them out at home. That will keep you busy enough.

Slayer rules!!! Yeaaah, man!
