Even though it says python, I've been getting through without it. While you can solve some problems using DBP, I'd advise using a language with regex support, you'll need it.

I'm currently on level 6, so far not too difficult, but there's 33 levels.

look at the difference between the 2 letters in the image, then apply it.

If you like this stuff, check out hackthissite.org, there's a complete mission system in there that requires the use of different languages and hackign techniques to pass each mission and increase your rank.

I've been on hackthissite before, years ago. I think I got into the 20s eventually. It's a little easier due to it not being based around Python libraries.

Mson, look at the pattern given in the image and apply it to the rest of the characters.

Quote: "how can u do the first one?"

It gives you the answer right in the image. Each page gives you clues to the name of the next page. When you have it, just change the name of the page in the url.

http://www.pythonchallenge.com/pc/def/0.html

becomes

http://www.pythonchallenge.com/pc/def/myAnswer.html

First one should be simple if you know basic math

I just did 0, but there's something odd: putting 1 in the url reveals a clue!?

these are really cool, I learned python a while ago so this is a nice refresher for me...

Yea sometimes wrong answers will bring you to a page with a clue.

I was stuck on 1 until my sister pointed out the pattern without any hesitation. Now I'm stuck on 2. I know what to do... but it's hard...

I think notpron is more fun, less language dependent.
