the other day, i was downloading something... and it went to 30mb/s and my limit is 2mb/s, and ive never realy downloaded faster than 200kb/s before.
How is this possible?









please note, if i was to photoshop this, id have to change the number at the top, on the tab, on the download, which the download selected, without it selected, and i realy am not that good at faking images..

Have you previously downloaded all or part of the file? It's most likely that it's just copying from a cache on your system somewhere thus making it appear to be downloading very fast when in fact it's not.

Did you take some time finding somewere to save them or was the downloader taking care of that.

I seen it where if you take some time to name the file or spend some time thinking where shall I hide this for later so I can't find it, then you will get high speed down load number.

My old dial up consistently downloaded at over 70KB/s for about a minute once... It was so pimp.

it automatically downloads files to my desktop cos i told it to.

and this took around 2-3 mins to download, so it wasnt a short buffer spike.
about 50mb of it though was corrupted, but the other 180 odd seemed to work.

If you resume an IE download it says "9tb/s" for the first second.

One question. What are you hiding from us? You've blocked out 2 downloads

Anyways, i rarely exceed 1mb/s Then again, we do have 2 laptops playing games on the network constantly

Ive exceeded my limit once or twice in my lifetime.

2mb connection got it to 8mb for and full download. 10mb went to 20 in a recent download of fade to black, the third bleach film. Streaming was awful so Dl was nessceary for the sake of my eyes.

yes, but it still downloads to a temporary download folder and then copies it.

I dunno, my net never goes above 30kbps...
