I hope I'm not stepping on any toes here or violating the AUP. If so I'm sure this will get locked and have no problem with that.

I was waxing nostalgic tonight and thinking back to the days of DOS when Doom first came out and everybody was playing it. So I went to ID website to see what they were currently doing where I noticed that they had several positions open. 3D Art, animator, producer, associate producer, programmers, etc. I thought maybe this would be a possible opportunity for those willing to move to Dallas, TX.

I am not associated with them at all and am not advertising for them. They probably aren't considered a AAA company anymore but it looks like they have some projects in the making because some of the positions are for "unnamed" projects.

I would say they're still considered a AAA company It would be great to work for them, but I wouldn't be able to stand the Texas heat year-round.

Gearbox Software (made Borderlands) is also located in Dallas, TX (where I'm from! ), and is also hiring:

It'd be great and convenient for me if I ended up working at one of them, but we'll see what happens.

Haha, it's not that bad (or maybe I'm just used to it growing up here ). This winter has been quite cold, in the 30's and 40's most days and dropping to the 20's or 10's at night for the past month.
