STFU AND GAME!

Noo imagine if i was like that...

I thought this was meant to be personal choice? Im mean a cool name is cool by your standards, not really something we can suggest.

And Everyone has thier own 'Company' till you trademark or some legal crap lol.

Ok, that was my fault....

I know it's a personal choice but my imagination is.... dull when it comes to names. I just needed some help, maybe combine some names that people come up with, things like that.

Some names I love are:

Epic (Mega)Games - Made the first Unreal (I have the original box!!!)

Ironclad Games - Made Sins of a Solar Empire

Novalogic - Made various war simulators

Anything like those would be cool

lol, I was thinking "Leadweight Games" but.....

but I think I can speak for most everyone on this forum when I say don't call yourself a company unless you actually are. There are formalities, laws, and documents involved in starting an actual company. Almost every "company" on this forum is just a group or a person. One thing that really gets on my nerves is when a person (singular) refers to their "company" as "we" or "us".

Anyways, w/ that off mah chest... may I recommend "Grenadier Games"?

Just put two words together that don't mean anything. That seems to be the new trend, probably because all the good names are taken. Or use a totally non-game related term with a color.

Of course you must be careful that you don't inadvertently spell something that was not intended... like some that can be found here.

Brian.

Just use a band name generator such as this one, then add "Studios" or some other empty title to the end.

For example:

Deluxe Waffle Studios

Instinct of Regeneration Games

Brutal Light Productions

Hideous Booze And The Deleted Constant, LLC

I will live forever or die trying.

Can't really think of any names but adding productions or studios at the end of a name apperently makes it sound more professional regradless of if you are a studio or no lol.

Heck i'm sure you can pick a few random things and join them together. What makes the company famous isn't necessarily their name...

Perhaps better names can be thought of due to a personal connection or interest.

So maybe in order to help you come up with a name (instead of one being handed to you), people could explain why they've name their website as they have.

My website is called, "Seppuku Arts", why 'seppuku'? My first game plans were for a Samurai JRPG about a Ronin. In my looking into Japanese history, a word I liked was 'Seppuku' because it was form a warrior restoring his honour, but it involved suicide - 'seppuku' is ritual suicide. My interest in warrior culture hasn't remained unchanged, as I also have a great interest in Vikings. Seppuku Arts is appropriate, I don't have a meaningful connection with it, but it's a name I think's catching. At least in the past I've been told off for wanting to change my username.

Maybe a personal connection can be formed, people seem to always fail to get the name right. "Suppeku", "Seppukku", "Sepukku", "Seppuko", "Sodoku". It perhaps mirror's my real name in that sense, "Brynne", "Brian", "Bryan", "Brine", "Bryne", and the strangest (no kidding), "Beatrice".

I came up with a few more names:

Determined Pest Productions
Rude Slave Productions
Bright Step Games
Ruddy Stone Productions
Ugly Theory Productions
Exotic Cave Studios (sounds more like an adult business)
Icy Wood Studios
Sticky Screw Games
Spotless Scent Studios

Using my revolutionary new 'game company naming tool', based on the Obese algorithm. Just view this page to see possible names for YOUR company today!

Currently, there are 3,337,818 possible combinations.

It's come to my attention, a few adult-oriented names may come up, such as "Mature Suggestion Studios" or "Enchanting Love Studios"

ill-fated banana Productions

Two I quite like:

animated birth Productions

Have to add this one:

How many words did you put in this thing Phaelax!?

Last one I promise:
