I always have been a fan of Battle Field Bad Company because of the following reasons

- No killcam
- No way to camp
- Vehicles are balanced
- There are vehicles....
- Maps are a lot bigger and destructible and have more of an animated feel to them
- Sound feels more realistic along with visuals
- Radar is much more balanced
- Much more in-game realism with weapons
- Although you can't shoot through walls you CAN blow them up
- No perks
- Anti-air guns
- You can go in guns a' blazin' or be stealthy without dieing in 2 seconds
- Sniping is more stealthy then MW2 (lame killcam....)

Your thoughts?

MW2 look weird, the blood splatter on the camera looks like cherry cola and everything seems to be firing tracers. It looks more like a Transformers battle than a real-life one.

Bad Company looks better to me but I didn't like the first one.
It seemed like it was trying to be "Full Metal Jacket: The Game", and it was just boring for me.

They seem to be making good improvements over BFBC1, which was a bit of disappointment. The things that pissed me off about playing it were the ridiculous 3D red dot above your head to every enemy player when one enemy player sees you, having to unload an entire clip into someone to kill them (or shoot them twice with a tank shell), little customization, only 2 modes (originally only 1), and no going prone. Hopefully they will fix a few of these in the BFBC2, I heard they will add a hardcore mode for the modes, so hopefully that means less damage and no red dot above your head.

Yeah the Battlefield series in general for me has never been that realistic, however this does look promising, hopefully it will only take one big explosion to kill someone this time round.

Yeah, but have you played Project Reality? It's a mod for BF2, and is hands-down the most realistic commercially available shooter you can find, while remaining very fun. And the best part is it's free!
