So a while back I tried to dual-boot Windows 7 (primary OS) with XP in order to run some other stuff. To cut a long story short it didn't work and I had a useless 40GB partition on my main disk. So without thinking, I just deleted the volume thinking that it would resize my main partition to fill the space back to 320GB. But no, my C: volume still remains at 260GB and was almost full until I bought an external hard disk.
I tried following a guide for expanding the volume, but it won't let me make it any bigger. Does anyone have any clue how to expand my C: volume so that it sits at the 320GB mark again?
/Edit
Right, so I have just found out that there is 40GB of unallocated space which would explain why I couldn't expand C: any more. The only option I have though is to add a new simple volume.
Thanks in advance.
