for more information on the Indie-Zen studio engine:

We have two versions of the Indie Game Engine that will be for sale in the near future, but following that we'll have the "elite" version available, which is the multi-user collaborative game development environment. Hero Engine is the closest to the elite version's capabilities and Hero Engine sells for $100k - $1.5m per title.

The Elite Indie Game Engine will likely be priced at $30k when it is complete.

Do you have any screenshots of this amazingly awesome, super duper, must have $30K indie engine?

If not, all I can see is incomplete prizes and forum titles.

I looked on the two linked sites and googled, no success so far. For a pricey engine, I expected to find more, at least if they're at the stage of offering it as a prize.

It is soon to be released. You are getting license basically early. The links provided go the websites of both. This engine has been in development for some time and little has been released on it other than their forums and the Ogre forums.

Are there at least any screenshots? To me it seems a little unprofessional to say, "hey, enter this competition and win an uber awesome 3D engine we will give little information about" (especially when the likely price is $30k). It's not a good means of attraction because people can assume that it's all talk...or even a scam just to get tutorials. Now, I'm not suggesting this is what's happening, it's something that attracts me (and I've got a tutorial in mind), but I am a skeptic.

Screenshots of some of it in action would perhaps be enough.

This is not to advertise or get free tutorials. Its simple a contest for the Indie Dev community. Indie-Zen donated those prizes. I am donating my own prizes and others have donated. Its just a community contest. No commercial intentions.

To write a simple tutorials is not asking much and after all these will be given free. If you do not feel secure about the contest then I wouldn't enter. You really have nothing to lose though.

One thing I can say is Indie-Zen has been in development for quite a while and has been anxiously awaiting by many many indie-devs.

I will try to get some screens though.

Pictures may say a 1000 words. But a demo or video will leave you speechless...

Having to spend two weeks or more on 20 pages worth of time effort and proof reading over and over again requires a little more than just screenshots....

I however I am not greedy a video will do just fine...Who is with me?

"In my weird politically incorrect hypothetically incoherent contradicting obscured world definitively maybe"

Im more interested in what this engine does than the prizes... I've been working on a tool that serves as a companion to engines, with a butt load of features that currently aren't available in any software out right now, for the last two years. If they've gone and written a program that does all of my ideas... well, that will just suck. Should've gotten a pattent I guess.
