has anyone else had a problem rinning M$ VB6 after working in DarkBasic pro?

I'm in the process of learning more about DBP and am planning on 'porting' an application across from VB6. M$ in its 'infinate wisdom' has removed way too much (in .NET) in the graphics area. My original code will not even load into VB.Net any more. In the past in earlier versions of .NET it would at least [try] to load now VB6 projects aren't even visible!

Hence the decision to go with DBP. Here's the glitch though, after running DBP for a while I get a weird error when I try to run either the VB development environment or a compiled .exe - when I do a 'screen refresh' (actually a screen redraw) which uses a 'Floodfill' command I get an fatal error which crashes the running program. The specific error is #480

The interesting thing is that currently I am able to clear the problem by doing a restart on my PC (running Vista btw).

I'm not flinging Celery at DBP here! I'm just curious if anyone else has had this problem, and if so is there a fix? Or have I already found the work-a-round?
