My McAfee Enterprise at work did not like the installer.
It removed couple of files, but demo seems to work.

Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

Tried downloading it, installed OpenAL, but it won't run. The Engine.exe tells me it can't find 'start.lua', and the editor just shows it's splash screen for half a second then disappears, and I can't find it in my task manager.

Tried restarting, still won't work.

Has anyone released a complete or at least fully functional demo with this engine yet?

I'm interested in purchasing but would like to see what other people have achieved. All the graphics demos look stunning but I'd like to see some examples of AI and gameplay.

One thing to remember is that the AI and gameplay is going to be determined by the developer much more so than it is in say, FPS Creator. You would most likely have to develop your own AI (which is one of my favorite parts of game development less the pathfinding) and so any user-made demo probably wouldn't be a good indication of what you may or may not accomplish.

If you aren't fluent in a programming language or at least LUA then this probably isn't an ideal engine for you - it is much more than drag 'n drop.

I have tried the LeadWerks Game Engine, but what can you use it for? Is it a plugin for DBPro, or a standalone game creation tool? I just want some more info on this.
EDIT: ^^^I mean the evaluation kit

Thanks,

You can sell games made with leadwerks engine?

-Why didn't God take gaga, justin bieber or kesha instead of Randy Rhoads, Cliff Burton or Dio?

From the EULA:

So yes, you can sell a game if you make one.
