Just a quick update to keep the thread going
Heres a question:
Would you like a training level to be in Cryopreservation?
And tell me what you think about my texture?

Nice, I like the texture! And a training level would be nice too. Checked your site, it was nice I am waiting for this game!!

OH! And your ceiling is always the same as the floor, it doesen't bother me too much in this occasion, but you might find a better ceiling somewhere...

Bloody James:
Quote: "For now I'm using two costume made segments and to achieve the "one brick side wall room" I used a couple of entity tricks.
And about the radiators, the room is big so it needs two of them."

Metal Devil123:
Quote: "Thanks for checking my site, and the tutorial level is in the works.About the ceiling,I don't want it to stand out to much so I don't change it."

I can't wait to finish the first level and release an official demo for you guys.
So stay tuned!

EDIT:Ok I solved the problem...
Anyway, here are some new wip. pictures. The first one is a part of the training level witch will be included in the first level, meaning the training level won't be on it's own...
I also have two requests if anyone's willing to help me out:
-1.I need dead body's,I tried to make them on my own but I cant get it right.
-2.If anyone's got some time on there hands,I'm in a need of a MP4 zombie surgeon hobo retexture, because mine came out a little weird .

@ Bloody James

He most likely made a flat plane and textured it with a .dds file (explicit alpha) with text on it. Then, just imported it to FPSC.

If they're interactive, such as disappearing when the player walks through or something, that's most likely scripts.

Mmmm, I must say those two last shots of your training level are the best shots in this whole thread.

Love the font, especially how it blends in with the textures around it. May I ask which font it is?

Anyways keep it up!

Mhhm... really nice screenshots. Your level design is solid and your lighting is beautiful.

Keep up the good work!

All looking very nice. I suggest you try out a darker red for the blood stain - If you're going for realism, then it should really be a bit darker. However, if you are going for a more stylish approach, I think the vibrant red looks good amongst the bleached environment.

Here's some news!
Because I have a little attention span when it comes to projects ...
I'm thinking to make Cryopreservation a series of short interesting games which will tell the story of a big snow blizzard from different perspectives.
I surtenly would like to hear you opinions on my idea.

I think for indie developer, mini series are easier to churn out. You can get a level or two done, build it and release it, which will keep cusomters(us) happy and keep people interested.

That, and FPSC likes small games more when building.

I like that idea.

I finally got myself to make the almost complete level one of Cryopreservation ep 1 even better so here are some WIP screens showing some of my "DestroyableWalls v0.9" and the new construction room .
Fun fact:I can't spell my games name without help of "Ctrl-C and V" .

This is what I like to call "DestroyableWalls v0.9" .
Nah...it's really just something I made with holez.

A picture of a new pointless room (for now) with my wicked blood texture.I really like it!

And here's the new construction room, still very WIP.
