aaaah my pc is just crashed. when I open my 3d max file then comes the following error: file open failed. NOOOO I spend 2 months on that model. can someone plzzzz tell me how to open of repair the file.

if max crashes it saves a temp of the model with (recover) after the name ... if the original backup doesn't work it could be you've tried to do something the program didn't like and saved on exit.

other than that if the file doesn't load and there were no problems then well erm tough

u may be able to open it in a differant editor also
