Well, why don't we go off the skill of your air force pilots eh? Half you guys couldn't even hold a formation together, or get half the statistics right, so good luck defending yourselves and actually putting the air force to some use overseas.

And ftr, that's a pretty pointless comment, Canada was previously a British colony, and Canada does have their own indigenous people just like Australia.

You could have had a go at the guy himself instead of insulting a whole country.

Agreed.

I guess I'm just getting sick of paying £40 for the same game Master Dinasty. Recently I got Skate2 for £10 for the PS3, I've never seen it that low for the 360. At £10 I'm prepared to give it a go and not feel cheated if the game is a disappointment.
£10 - £15 is 'try me' money, worth a punt to see if the game is any good. The last time I saw Skate2 for the 360 it was £28, if I paid that for it I might feel a bit cheated.

We are consumers first and gamers second, if we get burned during the consumer part, then the gaming part can be ruined. Well that's what it's like for me at least, I grew up having to save pocket money to buy games, sometimes having to make do with rubbish budget titles.

Insulting what he loves I figured would be better than insulting him.
And about the air force comment, unlike every other country on Earth, were not stupid enough to get ourselves into a major war.

Hey, can I repeat something?

Last time I checked this was a thread about Halo Reach. Let's keep it that way, shall we?

it was the best song in the world..."

Please. I have all the consoles, they have their strengths and weaknesses, (well, except the Wii, my mum stole that for Wii Fit)...

Anyway, if I want to have a good gaming stint for a couple of hours, I use the PS3, the graphics are superior. I rigged two identical HD-Ready 42" Plasmas at my mates with my PS3 and his XBox, he being a die-hard XBox fanboy, (like I actually used to), even agreed it was better, so we played CoD Mod 2 on that...

But the PS3 takes years to install a bloody game, so I use my XBox for quick, fun play, but the PS3 for intense, serious stuff...

They're both the same. Microsoft and Sony have ripped each other off enough that they are equal...

Anyway, rant over. Back on topic. I am literally wetting my pants over this. I still have good ol' Combat Evolved installed here, and I love it only slightly less than TF2, my current addiction...

With these beautiful graphical advancements, and the gameplay additions, sandboxing, combined with the possibility of having a CE-esque story, I'm loving where it's going...

And gentlemen, barring some canon-busting insane plot twist, this will be the first Halo game ever, TO HAVE NO FLOOD! Thank god for that!

But I liked the flood

Granted, only in the first one - it was a great plot twist then, but it could have been implemented differently in the second and third. The fact that they came in half-way in each game seemed off. Now, they are important to the story line, so they have to make some sort of appearance, but I just think there may have been a better way to do it.

Yeh, "What once was Lost" was a great mission. But the rest after it were just zombie shoot 'em ups IMO...

Besides, the book Halo:Reach had absolutely no flood at all, it was set before Halo was discovered, so therefore the flood are an unknown...

I think I'll like it more with just humans vs covenant...

I actually really enjoyed ODST. If they made the Firefight mode compatible with matchmaking, then people actually would still be playing that game.
That said, I just discovered Halo Wars again and now I'm enjoying that a year after I bought it just for some multiplayer maps.

How do you know that I love Australia? That's just a baseless assumption.

EDIT: Also, in regards to my first post, what's wrong with a little troll? It's not like I went back and posted three or four times to keep it going (unlike some people )

Halo: Reach Multiplayer Trailer

This looks so amazing. And the new gametypes look sick.

now that looks AWESOME

It looks like they didn't change the basic gameplay and stuff, but theres a ton of polish, and you can tell it has a better engine behind it.
