The Slayer and myself, are creating an on-line band in the "Music Discussion" thread. We have had a large amount of suggested names, but have not chosen one. This thread will contain the list of possible names, everyone can post their top three favorite names. At the end of March, if a mod could lock this, we will average out the votes, and announce the winner.

Here is the list:

What about n-Sync

Mod Edit, do not use a single flimsy asterisk to mask a swear work - the best bet is just to not use a swear word in the first place, or invent your own. I set it to n-Sync, for that I apologize.

@Accoun:
Thanks for your input.

@Gingerkid:
You can't use asterisks to write swears, you'll have to remove that or it will be mod edited.

@lazerus

Thanx, but only one name?

@charger bandit

Yeah, those are some good names aswell, but it would be best to choose only from the ones that are listed, otherwise we'll end up with far too much names.

Thanx

I have three:
Isometric Death Shader
Isometric Death Shader
and Isometric Death Shader.

IDS FTW! That is a cool name.

BTW, when I suggested DarkParticlePhysicists, I was joking, ok?

I just grabbed all names posted, even the two that I jokingly posted made the list. I agree about IDS, I love the name.

I think my favorite would be: Divided by Zero

Just sounds kinda nu-metal, and is a pretty distinct geek term, we all know the apocalypse will happen if someone ever does divide by 0. If someone who had no clue read that, they'd probably think it was a cool metal name, so it's smothered in win I think.

I'd suggest not going for eightbit despite sounding cool, sounds a lot like 8-Bit Weapon, who are probably the most well known geek band out there.

Thanx Van B! Good to know the mods are interested too.

Is nu-metal your favorite kind of metal, or what's your favorite style?

Oh, and a small hint about the possible genre of played music (not sure if this should be more in the general thread, I'm a bit in hurry): why not try industrial/cyber metal? You know, Samael, The Kovenant, Sybreed, Black Comedy etc. I think it would combine well with the idea of such band you want to create...

Err, I don't know about budokaiman. I'm not such a fan of industrial. Samael was no industrial band at the beginning, ye know?

Btw, did you check out the 'Music Discussion' -thread already? There's some stuff that I recorded today (Slayer style). And budokaiman also has his style of metal, so we're planning on mixing those genres together.

Thanx anyway

I'm not either, but Groove metal could work. However, we should discuss this more in the "Music Discussion" thread and not here.

Hmh, it's been really quiet here, lately. The end of march is getting closer and closer. So, there's still a chance for you guyz and girlz to send in your favorite top three bandnames (please choose only from the list at the top of the first page).

Thanx and keep on rockin'!
