yikes, that's not fun... that's one of the main reasons I've been experimenting with single level builds, and custom launchers tying them together. sorry to read that wolf. hopefully the v1.17 fixes these problems.

So glad to hear that - I had found it very depressing that the FPSC Engine Curse had found such a prominent victim.

Yes, I will upload it now...but be prepared.

This will be v0.5 and it will be mighty FUBAR.

Featuring loads of bugs such as:

Lightmapping errors on nearly every corpse

No Savegames

etc.

I am very excited about it nonetheless @wolf. Every single FPSC game - no matter how big or small, polished or unfinished - is a great source of inspiration for me and motivation to keep working on my own projects.

And my review will skip the "ugly" section this time

WOW! Nice! even if it has no savegame option, and bugs, I am sure it will be fun! Will you rebuild it when .17 comes out?

From the showcase thread.

Quote: "Will there be a V.1.0?

Yes, but it won't be an alteration to this game. This is a full version. You can see V1.0 as a Remake. If it is any problem for the showcase board, I can open a new thread.

1.0 Will be made in 1.17, use way more shaders and will (hopefully) fix several errors.

We'll see!"

The demo really scared my off a few times . Also the sound effects were really nice and spooky.. Im not usually into fpsc horror games, but this was something so good. I really had fun with the bolt-action rifle. Good job with this one!

People who wanted to play it but didn't get to the second level could be happy now

I started working on the 1.17 Version.

With a few new features, bug fixes, and the whole game made a little bit easier.

Amazing work! I don't know of any criticism I could give out to you. Maybe:

http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/big/41mk-bt.png

In that screen, there's a segment seam between two segments on the right. Might want to look into that.

Why? Just... why? Your textures, your models, your segments, your level design... how do you do it? HOW DO YOU DO IT!? HOW THE HELLL DO YOU DO ITT!!!!!

Sorry for that, I just had to do it... Well, the screenies look awesome as always, AS FRIGGIN ALW- ok... ok... calm down... I just can't get over the awesomeness of your screens... They all look so beautiful. And also:
You never said you abandoned Sickening, so what's up with that? Or did you say so, and I missed it? That looked the best (well, it was there with Meat)...

Haha! I love to see that people enjoy my work

Well, honestly, I'm often bored towards evenings, click around in FPSC, click on testgame...and ask myself: HOW THE HELL DID I DO THAT?

Anyway:

Most of it is practice, and the other stuff is texturing and a feeling for the scene

**************************

About the Sickening:

Its coming along slowly...you can see some Screens of the first remade map right here:

http://fps-creator.eu/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=121

I sometimes work on it when I want to do something in FPSC but dont feel like Symbiotic or Euthanasia

**************************

I wonder whats PWP saying about the fridge

This is shaping up nicely Wolf you have a very good eye for level design and atmosphere

I hope "The Nameless" are still in the game, as they looked cool.

I only have a few minor crits:

1) This pic the light fitting feels out of place in such an old room. Maybe wall lights would be better ??

2) Some of the light fittings (especially wall lights) and the X-Ray etc glowing screens could use a little grunge (maybe add to the _I textures a little yellowing and grime etc?? and a few cracks in the D2's for the X-Ray screens) as they look too clean to be in your excellent grungy rooms.

3) The bed is too clean.

4) Your too damn good and make us look bad :p

Hmm...yeah! But: The Map where this is in is really large and eventful. I already had to delete a lot of details in it and I'm happy it finally works. Adding walllights means more lightsources, more shadows and eventually errors again. You're Idea is good but I'm so happy this map finally runs stable that I won't touch it again

Quote: " 2) Some of the light fittings (especially wall lights) and the X-Ray etc glowing screens could use a little grunge (maybe add to the _I textures a little yellowing and grime etc?? and a few cracks in the D2's for the X-Ray screens) as they look too clean to be in your excellent grungy rooms."

They don't use an _I texture You're completely right. I even have some more dirty and some with blood on it in the game...but retexturing all these X rays would be too much for this project. I kinda want to get it done as soon as possible. I'm not rushing at all but I'm really too lazy to retexure this massive amount of X Rays...you got a good eye for details though!

It was ment for an other project...but you're right. I'll fix this tomorrow
