My name is Noah Forsyth, I'm [mod edited] and I'm very imaginative. I love video games but I've always dreamed of making my own. I tried Game Maker and modified some other games but all along I've really wanted to make my own game, so FPS Creator is a step in the right direction. I am a quick learner, I've only had FPSC for 2 months but I think I'm learning my wway around fairly well.

Glad to be here!

Hey there!

I'm Nils from germany, hoping to get some good advice here

I started in the german community, but now it seems to have died out a little so I came here.

I'm a little well with the FPSC, but have no advanced skills, let's see if I can improve them.

That's all Folks!

Probably the only friendly storm in the world.

Hi all! I am back after a few years away. I didn't realize I had been away so long until I figured that my son was 4 when I downoaded it the first time.
After being away for 3-4 years, I am going to have to relearn everything again at 71.
I live in the Philippines with my wife and son.

Greetings. I'm DAEvo, rogue musician & game designer currently living in the Wild West territory called Arizona, USA.

My business is designing games and I'm currently Lead Designer/Project Manager on a turn-based strategy game with RPG elements.

I listen to jazz. I cook. I read too much.

I purchased FPSC because A) Great deal (Bonanza!), and 2) I wanted to just have something to fiddle and make quick games full of inside jokes to make my friends/dev team laugh. So far I've really enjoyed using it, but the sheer number of Map Packs and what-not has me dizzy in a haze for forty days.

Game Designer, NOT Game Programmer. Handle with Care!

UGTV here. Real names Chris.

I've been on the site for a little while now off and on. I still don't really know anything, but I try to learn some of it when I can. lol

I work on games with my 8 year old son. Eventually we are going to make a pretty big game once we get the ideas all worked out and I do enough trial and error to piece a game together.

That's really about it.

Thanks!

I am trying to make a good horror game, well a horror game.. as the big companies have lost sight of what it actually means to be a horror.

Hi All .,...

Greetings to everyone..

3d modelling is not a difficult thing to learn after developing assets for other games like Trainz 2012 and Railworks 3..
I thought why not give The Game Creators a try,l know how to program in java, learning c++ and now DarkBasic,
a bit of a challenge for me at the age of 52 at the end of the month, but none the less, so they say, your never too young to learn a new language...

Hey all -

Just recently discovered FPSC and thought it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I love indie and fan-created mods and games, so this is like heaven for me. I enjoyed playing 20-30 of the most recent releases over the weekend, and then ordered myself up a version of FPS Creator Ultra Pack, which seems to be an amazing deal.

That said, I was a bit surprised with all the varied model packs available from TGC that almost every recent game is either horror or scifi. I'm a big Thief fan, and I've got a little experience making missions for that, so I thought I'd try to create a Thief-like medieval type game using FPSC. Some of the stealth aspects will be a tall order, but should be fun to at least try to set it up. I'm not super technical, and scripting will be something I'll have to dig into and learn.

Also - I have a site where I host Thief missions, and have plenty of space and bandwidth. I'd be interested in starting up an FPSC page to host games. I've noticed quite a few games released in the past year are not available anymore due to bad links or megaupload going down, which is a shame.

Anyway, look forward to hanging around here for a while...

Hello Everyone! I figured it was time to introduce myself. My name is Eric Phillips, Owner / Lead Programmer / Lead Graphics Designer of Big Dog Game Studios. We are based out of Port Angeles Washington here in the US. Don't let my forum date fool you, I have actually been a member of TGC's site since early 2009... I just did not post very much. Well I plan to change that. This seems like a great community and I plan to try and give as much back as I take from it!

Greetings,

My name is Mark Stevenson, I have been playing around with FPS Creator for a few months now, and I have heard of this community only a few hours ago. I'm an amateur 2D & 3D, and I hope I can become a supportive member of the community.

I'm 17 years old, and I'm finishing school. I like instrumental music, be it classical, as New Age. I play the piano on my free time, and I do hope to add some assets to the community.

Lastly, I'm not working on any game as of now, just playing around.

Regards,

Mark.

Hi,
Is a guy from Sweden and my name is Mikael.

I bought FPSC and Dark Basic Pro etc...

Having looked a little on it and made a simpler game, everything works easily and well, but as with everything else, so hoping for a new version of FPSC v.2 with new modern features (DX11), it would be great...

I've started using a FPSC from yesterday.
My objective is to make an Imperial Japanese oriented WW2 game.
I'll post a progress of the game on youtube.

Hi,
I have been tinkering with game creation off and on since Pie In The Sky Software released GCS back in the mid 90's. That may date my age a bit lol

I just purchased and am learning the script language for FPSC.

This time I hope to follow through to a finished product!

Hello everyone!

My real name is Martial, I'm from France but currently live in China. I've been eyeing FPS Creator for several years since I first saw it on a shelf in a videogame store. Now that I have a bit more time and a decent rig, I'm looking forward to tinkering and messing around with what looks to be a great game creation tool!

Cheers!

Hi everyone

My name is danieleman(that's my forum name)and I really keen to learn about game development because it's was my hobby.I found TGC website about 5 years ago when I was immature(I was a kid back then). After I saw FPSC I must said that FPSC is the best tool for a newbie like me,I really wanna buy it that day but well you know, kids doesn't know anything about the credit card.3 years after that I was really surprised and happy because my uncle buy me an FPSC downloadable version. After that I used it for hobby and for fun,I also learn 3D Modelling, texturing and designing.I try to learn scripting FPI but I think my head is gonna explode(because I think scripting FPI is the hardest task for me)but scripting is also part in 3D models so I think it's worth.

That's all, sorry for my English because English is my second language.I hope I can learn something here and get some friends.

Always Happy
