I bought something like that once before (Roadrunner gets expensive), but in the end, it was just money down the toilet.

There are systems like this in one city in England with free internet for everyone but they don't go down the toilet, so it's kinda true.

xplosys, even if you didn't realise this was an April fool's, did the 'package' names not give it away?

"Trickle", "#2" and "Royal flush" for example

Are you really asking me if I thought this was real?

Well yeah, considering you've posted this about 3 years after it was first seen by most people and nowhere near April Fool's day

Jesus, isn't someone allowed to post a joke? For the record I haven't seen it before. So your point is invalid.

It's probably my fault, but I never even considered that anyone could possibly think it was real. I saw it for the first time yesterday and I thought it was funny. I have to keep reminding myself where I am, and the average age of people here.

NEIN!

Nah, it's just because it's popped up before I thought xplosys may have stumbled across it and thought it was real (xplosys: As you said, really unlikely you thought it was real, and of course you didn't: But with no indication of humor etc. in the original post it's difficult to tell)

The more real he played it off the more likly someone would belive it, at that point we laugh at them. Repeatdly.

How did you not get that? i belive you have no sense of humor my good sir.

::sigh::

Why have most threads recently gone down the tubes? Someone starts one innocently, then other posters start making comments that are rather rude, a flame war ensues....

Sorry, but it's true. Everybody just seems to be a lot more grumpy lately!

EDIT:

Xplosys, thanks for sharing. Yes, a lot of us have seen it, but a lot also haven't. I found it a rather funny webpage.

+ You can't really be optimistic about someone's intentions around here, I mean people are still posting spam mail and saying "Is it spam?"

Yah, those spam threads seem to come in cycles... like we'll just get a bunch of them all clustered together, and then it will stop.

11 day bump to ensure people know you don't have any understanding of the thread? Awesome.
