I have some ideas for a mw2 DLC. These ideas are from me: '~//.waxx!SnakE`' Steam addie: slitherous_snake, and from my m8 Jake: '~//.waxx!FuzioN`' Steam addie: jakey110

I will also post this on the IW forums. I got this idea a few days ago. These would make the game more fun to play, and give it more variety.

Gamemodes:
ACS - The goal is for one team to download a random amount of data off a computer in the enemy's base. One team has an ACS module to be picked up at the spawn, and taken to one of the computers near the enemy spawn. You need to get the data and take it back to the spawn within 10 minutes. The ACS module can be disabled when the enemy walks upto it and pauses it, and when it is shot at. Starting and stopping the copying takes 5 seconds. Respawn is enabled. Once the data is collected, it is to be taken back to the spawn.
Infiltration - The goal is to infiltrate the enemy base, plant explosives at 3 locations, and head to the extraction point. One team defends the 3 locations, the other is attacking. Once explosives are planted, then can be defused, but it takes 7.5secs. Planting takes 5secs.
Weapons:
-M40A3 Bolt Sniper

-Scar-L (longer barrel, faster fire rate, less damage)

Attachments:
-Sniper Scope (fits on most assault rifles and on some heavy machineguns. when enabled, player can switch between semi-auto and normal fire rate config for that weapon)
-Laser Pointer (fits on every weapon except for launchers. appears as a box on the side of the weapon like in CoD4 for primary weapons, on the underrail for secondary weapons. togglable)
-Red Dot Scope (like the single player acog like scope in CoD4)
-Bipod (Fits on assault rifles, light machineguns, and sniper rifles)
-Torch (fits on every weapon except launchers. togglable)
-Iron Sights (take off the scopes on snipers
-Honeycomb Scope (scope with thermal, normal scope, and modifiable zoom)
-Taped Mags (reload faster with 2 magazines taped together, reload normally after 2nd reload)
Camoflage Patterns:
-Guille Camo
-Green Tiger
-Orange Tiger
-White Tiger
-Fire Camo
Equipment:
-Land Mine (small discoloration on the surface to show where it is, only placeable in terrain, not in concrete or rock)
-Proximity Grenade (grenade that sticks to walls and explodes with the sound of a sticky grenade when the player walks within a detectable range)
-Motion Detector (Detects moderate to large amounts of movement of over 1m per second. Appears as goggles and slightly reduces FOV)
-Heat Vision Goggles (Makes the game appear as if the player were aiming down a thermal sight, but slightly reduces FOV)
-Glow Stick(Can be thrown into dark areas to lighten them up a little bit)
-Camoflage Sheet (You can wear this over yourself and it is slightly transparent. Just like the one in Single Player where your teammate is hiding under it with his sniper. pattern matches map setting)
-Barricade (Destructible barricade that can be put over a door. Needs to be melee'd to break. Makes a wood smash sound when broken)
-Nail Bomb (Explosive on a timer that detonates after 30 seconds. gets placed under the player's position. cookable. can be cancelled but it takes 5 seconds. throws 50 nails in random directions, can penetrate through the same amount of wall as a machinegun.)
Special Grenades:
-Poison Gas (emits a gas that has the same effect as radiation, but doesnt slow down the player. kills player in 5secs of contact, 2.5secs in hardcore)
-Knockout Gas (knocks the player onto the ground, frozen for 10 seconds, only able to move slowly, and can only use pistol (if availible, otherwise knife). but they have a slower fire rate)
Perks:
Slot 1:
-Over Equipped [Level 32](2 x Equipment (not blast shield or tactical insertion) Over Equipped Pro allows 5 x Equipment.) Over Equipped Pro: 150 kills while using Over Equipped.
-Mod Kit [Level 69](Allows the player to change weapon attachments ingame takes 10 seconds. Disables secondary weapon. Mod Kit Pro allows to modify the gun in 5 seconds) Mod Kit Pro: Change weapon attachments 150 times while playing.
Slot 2:
-Bling 2 [Level 50](Allows another attachment on primary weapon. Player can have upto 3 attachments in total. Bling 2 Pro allows a third (if applicable) attachment on the secondary weapon.) Bling 2 Pro: 250 kills with the Bling 2 perk
-ESP [Level 45](Allows the player to have togglable 10 seconds of pulsing dots on the screen at enemy location. Only 10 seconds total alowed useage per life. ESP Pro shows as full time movement without the pulsing after the first pulse) - ESP Pro: 25 penetration kills while using ESP
-Ghost [Level 25](Undetectable by ESP. Ghost Pro allows you to have no footsteps at all) Ghost Pro: 125 kills while using Ghost
-Finishing Move [Level 15](Finish off an enemy by sneaking up to them and pressing a binded key. You throw them over your shoulder and gain some ammunition. Finishing Move Pro allows you to do this quieter.) Finishing Move Pro: Kill 100 enemies with a Finishing Move.
Killstreak Rewards:
-Dogs [8](3 dogs fade in on the player's position when the player presses the default killstreak button - which makes the player whistle)
-Chat Blocker [12](block enemy chat and voice chat for 30 seconds)
-Rocket Sentry Gun [8](Same as normal sentry, but shoots rockets instead)

i do personally believe that this will be very very overpowered, since using 5x different granades is... well... you see my point.

then they would become more vulnerable to being killed.

the dogs keep 5m apart and have a 1sec time to grab it and kill it.

by that i mean like 1 equipment, but 2x or 5x that piece of equipment. so like if you want a frag nade, you get 2 of them (5 if pro). only 1 piece of equipment times that perk.

still, 5x granades = a lot of granades
combine that with the granade attachment and it is 7 granades.

Most people 1MA tube and grenade anyway, or they use scavenger. Remember that the Over Equipped perk will take over the primary slot so there will not be 1MA, scavenger, or seight of hand.

How about:

Tier 3:
Kung-Fu [Level 10] (Allows a player to effectively dodge a blade attack by pressing a binded key in a range of time during the attack - similar to preventing dog attacks. Must be facing the attacker to have the option appear)
Kung-Fu Pro [After 150 dodges] (Automatically stabs the person that is attacking after a successful dodge and cancels out a victim's regular Kung-Fu perk. If both attacker and victim have Kung-Fu or Kung Fu Pro, neither can block)
-Maybe these should only work on people using commando-
(I hate commando )

Or just nerf the commando perk down to something a human (or perhaps an alien?) could do (10 feet reduced to 7) (3 meters reduced to 2 meters)

Thats just a modified demolition.

Insanely stupid, Poison gas? what would be the point? it would be stupidly overused and overpowerful. Knockout gas is the same, Stun grenades are for that along with flash, any others are pointless.

The reason why the scopes are seperated is so that its not a all in one setup, it means that you have to lose to gain, thus balancing out the class.

Claymores are used so that their is no overkill traps. They have weakness' sticky proxies can be placed anywhere leading to doorframes, small corners and the like being targeted for stupid kills. Same goes for the landmine.

I gave up at this point, most of what yuo said can be used in junction with other perks to greatly tip the balance of the game and bringing in super classes. Some things are just slightly different verisons of what is already available. The camo sheets can be unlocked when using a sniper, after X amount of kills you gain ghille suits that auto change to the terrain.

The equipment x5 is aswell too much for me to put in words.

Some of your suggestions are pretty good though.

Personally id look forward to more titles and emblems. More maps, The stats of the riot shield to actually be shown/ upgradable - choose one of three - melee damage increase, cover area, mobility. Non bling orientated of course.

Finishing moves is over the top and flashy. No need in other words. Just put a bullet in the back of his head an call it a day.

Different killstreakes would be nice, but what can they actually cover now?

Maybe a carepackage armour drop, so you acn take a little more damage, Or a weapon drop instead of a resupply? I use whatever is closest to hand to kill someone. dosnt matter if its a usp or a LMG, ill still pick it up if i anit got ammo.

New weapons are always welcome but they have already balanced out the sets so each rifle is equal to each other in some form, except the f2000, that failed misreably.

Instead of rocket turrets, maybe AA? that woulds allow a free secondary instead of lugging a rocket lancher of some form. Though make it so it cant kill a pavelow or higher, if its set at 5 kills to get it.

Recording of kills with weapons once you pass 2500 would be nice. I'd like a breakdown of the weapons i use the most along with perks and equipment.

How about a patch to fix the already existing issues? Face it, Modern Warfare 2 is going to loose to Bad Company 2, it's an obvious fact.

Honestly do not care what happens to this game. I'm enjoying BC2 and see no reason to come back to this game.

Yep, at least with Call of Duty 4, the multiplayer was well balanced, well put together, and well rounded. Now it's glitchy, the maps aren't that impressive, and generally all they did was reverse the order you unlock guns.

The biggest problem now, is that Call of Duty is loosing it's fighting edge. It's loosing it's interest because they've added nothing new except for a few perks. I payed $65 to get it when it came out, and I was wondering why I did after I beat the story in about 5 hours (on Veteran), and played the under-developed multiplayer for about 2 hours. The minute I hit Host Migration, I knew it wouldn't be good.

The thing about Bad Company 2, is that the first Bad Company was VERY good, and well put together. Now they've went the popular route, and added customizations to weapons. It's also added perks, but these perks are actually realistic. You can get more powerful shells...but it isn't by sheer magic that they work, they are hardened steel warheads, which really exist. Same with extra leg pouches and such for more clips. Everything is made to be well balanced. Sure, everyone might enjoy being recon, but not everyone uses sniper rifles when they are in recon, they have "all-class weapons", which obviously every single class can use. These are shotguns, old WWII weapons, pistols, etc.

The story on Modern Warfare 2 was a sad excuse for a story. It was only about 5 hours, and you could smell betrayal a mile away.

Bad Company 2's story line is nothing to be proud of either, but it was a lot more interesting than Modern Warfare 2's. Betrayal has never been part of the Battlefield series, but this time around I was actually surprised when a certain character got a bit suspicious...

Regardless, I can't go back to the Modern Warfare series, I just can't.

But yea, my BC2 is on it's way and I can't wait to play it.
Gonna blow a hole in a wall with a nade or something (high enough to use as a sniper spot) and camp there.

How about a DLC that stops 12 10 year olds on the mic arguing at the end of a match in CoD 4? (Different game, but I presume it's the same system)

I'm fed up of seeing Xx1337gam3rtom2001xX and his buddies (The average gamertag for you)

Its tap A on the name in game and A, A in a game lobby. Quite simple, thiers also no delay so you can mute 13ppl in about 2secs.
