Hi everyone,
I am currently a college student and am working on some fun projects to make my dorm room pretty sweet. These inclue a multitouch screen or two, an automation system controlled by my iPod touch, and maybe if I have the time and money an rgb lighting system.
I am wondering what other ideas people have? What do you think would be cool.. something you've wanted or seen before or just something you think is neat!
Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks!

Wouldn't mind something to scratch my balls of a morning.

The one thing that i miss from my old house is my whiteboard wall, never been a more fun and practical way to concept projects than an entire wall i can draw on (without having to repaint afterwards).

My old roommate and I thought about doing this project, a multitouch display with an old projection tv.

Instructables is a good website for this stuff.

this multitouch surface is one that and friend and I have been looking at doing for a college project. If you don't have a projector already, it'd cost you $300-$400. If you happen to have one already, you could build one for $100

A whiteboard. Very useful.
