Well, basically. Does anyone have any information on a possible convention for this year? I havent seen any discussion on it in a while so i thought i'd make the thread.

If the the convention was to take place (in the UK) this year what would you guys want there and where would you like it to be? Who would come?

Im not asking this so i can organise it, just so TGC will see that we want another convention after the 2008 one

what i'd like to see is tgc forum users be banned or slapped at conventions, as well. of course, should you choose to remove the landmines you've scattered about, i'd be prone to remove my request.

thanks for asking.

We don't need a convention in the UK, we need one in california!

And there's no point in banning people from a convention. Most of the obnoxious comments people make online aren't said in person when their face is identifiable and more easily punched.

This is quite true, internet trolls are but mere weaklings with a chip on their shoulder on humanity because somehow, somewhere they felt betrayed by it. In the real world they're probably nice enough, as I'm sure all they really want to do is make friends.

I'm tempted to come along to one of these conventions sometime.

Well I shall be there. This is reason enough to attend.

Yes! that would be awesome!

I'm going to japan this year, and I think my parents would get angry if I asked to travel to europe

On second thoughts, I don't want to go to a TGC convention...

We are simpely not many enough to really organize something like that, not everyone would come you know? I would though but only in Europe (yes that includes the UK too!)....

Send me some sort of transport that'll take me from Sweden to wherever it'll be I'll join. I'm expecting full service here.

if someone has the bottle to organize somewhere by the end of the month or so, people will be able to go! saying stuff on here will get you no where.
