I won a $30 Amazon gift card for taking 1st place in a coding competition recently. Now I don't know what I should buy with it.

I've kinda narrowed it down to a few options, but I'm open for suggestions.

I was looking into some noise canceling headphones...

or some sony
Or if you know of some good $30 headphones, I'm open to suggestions

I was also thinking of getting Mac OS X Snow Leopard. I have a Mac Book Pro that I would put it on.

What do you guys think I should get?

If you're the reading type, I strongly suggest a kindle.
I have one, and have nothing but good things to say. It's very practical to store many books in a single device, with the added value of being able to store pretty much every kind of document.
(there's a free converter (legal) for pdf's, doc's, html, images...)
It also has an integrated browser, and it does not depend on a local WiFi network to be able to either surf or download books.
Edit:
If the only options are the ones you listed, I would choose the Sony headphones.

I'd probably buy a few used games

Whenever I get a gift card, I buy music.

Skullycandies are great. Except when they break within two weeks. But to be fair, they did replace them.

Heh. I don't really know what else to do with Amazon Gift Cards either. I always end up getting a few around Christmas, but the funny thing is, their value always seems to fall just shy of that 'special' something that catches my eye So, I usually just buy 4 or 5 used games for the PS2, and then spend the next three weeks after Christmas playing all of them

Idk, I have 5x £5 gift vouchers. What should I do with £25?

Simple, pre-order GTA: Episodes from Liberty city (PC) for £20.

No, really, buy these headphones. They've lasted me months and don't seem to have any damage, wear or quality loss.

I have a bigger variation on those phones Aaagreen, they're damn good huh! - I like how your whole ear fits inside, the noise cancellation is excellent and completely natural - no filtering or messing with the audio to dub it out. I also got little Bose in-ear phones which are incredible, pretty cheaply from Amazon as well, like 20% of the full price.

Amazon is great for cheap audio stuff, I prefer using Amazon for cheaper things, rather than risking eBay. Especially with headphones - you want to know where your cans have been!.

Turns out my brother had the same Sony headphones I was looking at that he wasn't using anymore, so he's giving them to me next time I see him.

So I ended up ordering Snow Leopard. I've been curious to see how awesome it is. Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

I think next time I get an amazon gift card I'm going to use it on used console games or something.

Exactly what I was going to recommend, even though I don't use Macs (yet). I've heard that SL is pretty good, although during the initial release there was a couple of strange issues. Apple resolved it with a patch, though. So once you install it, look for the patch, and you'll be fine.

Meh. I ended up using my £25 on Munch's Oddysee (Xbox) and preordering Episodes from Liberty City (PC)

Money well spent, I presume.
