Hey guys, bought this nifty program, and am a bit disappointed in one aspect: Normal maps.

Why? They look awful, they don't capture enough definition.

Anybody know how to use this program to make higher-quality normal maps?

My guess would be ShaderMap from the title.

It should be good!

It isnt the program that makes u the normal map, it is u that make the program do that for you, adjust the settings and get the results.

Yes... I'm talking about ShaderMap as you may have devised from the title. Link to it's page is in the post above this one

That's what I'm asking for help on. I can't get it to make decent quality maps.

Awesome software! Never seen it before but I tried the demo.

Anyways, have you pressed the different maps on the left? You will get some options for each map.
