Is Bing REALLY better then Google.com? I have seen so many commercials praising it, but I see absolutely no differences.

You hit it right on the head: there's nothing different. It's just competition to Google.com. Of course it's own ads are going to praise it.

It's mainly more visual than Google. What I mean is, while Google goes for a "Spartan" bare-bones look, Bing uses images and visuals.

Google = compact, straight forward
Bing = Visually pleasing

It's a matter of preference, and of internet bandwidth.

Of course, the search engine itself is very different. I have yet to figure out which I prefer for query results.

I like both. Google for general searches. But I like the way Bing displays image results.

I like Bing better. Don't know why. Maybe I am brainwashed. Maybe I like the interface. Maybe just because it comes standard with my browser and I got used to it. Maybe it's more accurate. I don't know, but I prefer it.

It tells me the IT dep. at your school is full of incompetents.

I use bing personally, but I still go to Google sometimes due to habit.

I generally get similar results... but I prefer google because it doesn't come from an OS distributor (well, google OS is coming out, but I don't think any of us take it seriously), so there hopefully won't be much bias as far as I can see. I like the simplicity as well.

I have that problem. I cant type the word burger actually any food type, or ww1-2 or access half the pages on wiki due to the phrase logger. The idiots actually banned thier own website at one point.

Fancy image sheek, versus bare bones power. If you know how use the proper booleans then thier just as good as each other. Down to preference in the end.

I only just tried Bing because of this thread. Google seems to come up with far more results and I prefer the Spartan look.
I don't really see the point of using Bing when we have Google.
