The marketing one is tempting for me to apply for. So, it's time to update my CV and I will most likely have a few questions to ask.

Marketing one is tempting for me too, considering my mian full time job is to lead a sales team and advertise stuff.

Sadly i dont have a CV, and dont have the information for a CV, as CVs became redundant to my lifestyle since i started working self-employed (about 3 years ago).

good luck to whoever goes for it! x

"Freelance Game Coder" sounds soooo nice, but i don't think you would hire me as i've never worked in programming, just a hobby, and im best in dbpro over every other language, which it sounds like it would be using languages other than your own, although it is nice that you are advertising to your members here.

anyway, good luck to all the forum members that apply.

MSon, if you can make a fun and polished, low-spec game, then targetting the Netbook makes a lot of sense.

Maybe you should adapt something, or start a new project - but DBPro is right there with the big boys on the Netbook and could easily clean up in the right hands. So if that ''Freelance Game Coder'' title sounds good, why aren't you doing it already - I don't think many people here program for a living, it's a hobby for most people, but one that could be a good way to make some extra scratch.

The only qualifying factor in the title ''Freelance Game Coder'' is that you can make a game that people want to play. If you target the Netbook then you can develop at your own pace, then get TGC involved when you have something solid, before taking it to the next level. This is not entirely the role that TGC are looking to fill, I'm guessing that they are looking for people who can develop cross-platform titles.

Hi guys,

This actually sounds interesting, but as with MSon, I don't really know any other programming language except for Python. Still, I hadn't thought of making games targetted at Netbooks before, and I'm brilliant with optimizing my games as much as possible! Maybe I will think about creating a simple but fun game (wait, I already have an idea!) for Netbooks. What should I do if I complete this task?

Thanks,
Clonkex

Making games is easy.....finishing them is a different matter.
