I got an NTSC Copy of Resident Evil 4 for Nintendo GameCube, Anyone know where I can get something like a FreeLoader to get it to work in a PAL UK System?

Thanks for any help.

Can't you just get the Freeloader?

Your signature has been erased by a mod because of the forum's stupidly tiny restrictions, along with other things such as lack of automatic image resizing, and lack of embedding videos.

proberbley, but i've never used a freeloader in a GameCube, Will this work?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Datel-Direct-Ltd-FreeLoader-GameCube/dp/B00006FRD9

I don't want to spend the money on one if it wont work, closest i've ever got was using things like boot discs on dreamcasts, ect, There seems to be several different versions of freeloaders, will they all work the same.

Oh God, Datel are crap, they broke my PS2 (using Action Replay MAX). I doubt you can play NTSC on PAL though, I bought Armored Core: Nine Breaker for PS2 as an NTSC format when of course, in the UK, our consoles are PAL, and therefore didn't work. I returned it for a PAL though . FreeLoader may work, but I've never used one so I can't exactly judge on it. It's only £10 though, so it won';t be a massive loss, unless you're tight on money.

Before the Wii got updated and killed my freeloader it worked without any problems. So long as your tv is capable of NTSC output you shouldn't have any problems using the cube freeloader.

Can't you just get a PAL version?

I'm sure that converter will do the trick, a guy at work actually got one of those when RE4 was first released, to avoid the typical UK delay.

Anyhoo, do what you have to to get it running, the games worth owning a GameCube for, never mind spending an extra £10. It's my all time favorite game, it's imaculate.
