Morally right? No. Does that matter? No.

You'll find soon enough the world doesn't run on morals.

People are lazy, its called deligation. Hell i still fix the computers in art rooms while restocking printers, an Im a second year 6th former. If you had the choice, you'd done the same, a menial task below your pay grade so its not worth your time an effort, after all you keep the school running, things like that are below you. So what if some random kid is using a system he shouldnt, theres no point screeming at him and telling the other kids about it. Youll just patch it up later, less work that way.

A little exagerated and emblished but thats pretty much the answer/vibe/looks i get from the tech guys at our place.

To sum up,
Get over it.

I do agree. The reason I said the morals thing is that in school, they always tell us about pillars of character, and morals/values, and stuff like that. It's awfully hypocritical that they try to instill us with certain morals and things (which oftentimes are not very applicable), but turn around and do nothing like this themselves.

And anyway, getting on the internet in general presents most people with an opportunity to go around the filter and stuff, because most people know a few web proxies that are unblocked."

I just don't understand your mentality here.

Just because people don't wear bullet proof vests when they go outside, surely it should be all right if I walk up and shoot them?

Just because your school hasn't blocked every single proxy under the sun, doesn't mean its ok for you to use them.

Typical of modern times people still can't admit they are in the wrong. Who gets a lawyer involved to sue a public school? You are suing yourself you do realise right?

Again, not on morals. There are rules, you broke them, they can punish you. It's that simple. Does it matter that the rule is unfair? No. It does not. You go to their school, you follow their rules. Just please, TAKE THE PUNISHMENT!

^ And then riding it through a ghost town.

My green thumb grew the tree my Trojan War horse was crafted from. With roses in our pockets we rally round the tombstones. Ashes to ashes, we all fall down.
