Just finished watching the premiere episode and it was actually enjoyable(yes, I still watch cartoons). The 'nanite' concept is very cool, especially when Rex changes his arms and legs into massive weapons. The boss fight at the end was pretty epic for a first episode and his regeneration was wicked. The style reminds me of Ben 10(one of my favorite cartoon series), probably made by the same people, and the animation is very well done.

If anyone gets a chance, good cartoon to start watching.

Me, too... However, do you still have a room full of legos?...
AFOL ftw!

I haven't seen Rex, but I am a huge fan of Johnny Bravo and Samurai Jack, while my wife likes Avatar and Naruto. I also enjoy some Adult swim on the weekends. Generally when I watch cartoons, I try to fill it in with some anime like Cowboy Bebop or Trigun. I recently got into Ghost in the Shell and have seen a few episodes of Bleach which is kind of interesting.

My green thumb grew the tree my Trojan War horse was crafted from. With roses in our pockets we rally round the tombstones. Ashes to ashes, we all fall down.

The new cartoons are kinda boring on CN. BTW did you notice they actually have Batman now?

In my opinion the best cartoons were: Tom & Jerry,Dexters Lab,Johnny Bravo and Ed,Edd and Eddy.

Yes they still run Ed Edd and Eddy...

CoughMist:
Samurai Jack and Cowboy Bebop are without a doubt my favorite animated series of all time...and yes, I have several lego star wars ships around the room and I own all the Lego Star Wars games.

charger bandit:
Considering my kids force me to endure Dora and Deigo the entire time they are awake, CN has frakin incredible cartoons. :S

Cartoon Network has gone down the tubes the last 5 years or so. I used to love every show they had on that station. Now it's just meh. Glad you found something you enjoy!

Maybe they've always been bad and you just grew out of them.
I remember watching Cow & Chicken, it was so bad I can't believe I watched it lol.

There will never be a cartoon better than Thundercats, that is a fact.

The original TMNT will always be the ultimate cartoon.

On a side note, Hulu has the X-Clamp series. This is oen of my favorite animes and is very well made. It's written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, who's most famous for writing and directing Ninja Scroll, including creating the manga and series.

Heroes in a half shell... TURTLE POWER! Donatello was my favorite because of his tech savvy attitude. (That's a fact, Jack)

I had the toys, the movies, the comics... you name it, I had it. And when they made the transforming turtles and vehicles... I was in heaven.

TMNT was cool: I had the bed spread, lampshade and curtains.
I had some of those transforming ones, they were cool but wtf?
I had one that was Shredder that turned into the guy he was before he became Shredder.

James Avery (Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince) was the voice of Shredder

Not exactly. They run reruns, but there are no more new episodes. They actually had a big final episode, then months later a hidden episode, but it has been almost 3 years since the last episode.

The new episode coming up looks really good. I like the whole idea of him being able to transform limbs and body parts into crazy machines.
