I managed to get into a beta tester position for the upcomming online racing game NFS World Online. The following screenshots are from the latest build.



If you want to know anything about the game,just ask. I've been through 3 beta tests now,this latest one is the most complete yet.

The game is comming out in summer.

Umm....I don't think you're supposed to give screens and info from a beta. Unless this is different because its going to be free.

Yes the game will be released for free. Anyone can sign up for the beta so there is no secret. I got some connections so I got first in line.

I'm a fan of the original NFS games, the newer ones I just didn't like as much. Though I'll still give this a go as I love racing games. What kind of car lineup is there? What sort of modding will be available for the cars? Last, will it support a wheel?

So far theres a few cars to pick:

-Toyota Corrolla AE86
-Nissan 240sx
-Nissan Silvia
-Nissan GTR
-VW Scirrocco
-1969 Dodge Charger
-Lotus Elise
-Porsche 959 (not drivable in beta,but will be there)
-2006 Dodge Charger (probably will be since the cop cars are Chargers)
-Lamborghini Gallardo LP560
-BMW M3 GTR (think Most Wanted)

Maybe I missed one. Cars will have powerups,vinyls,bodykits,preformance upgrades but in the beta there are only vinyls and powerups. Wheel will probably be supported,I don't see a reason why not.

*sigh* Don't see my car in there. Oh well, it always seems to turn up in the NFS games.

Edit: Seems one of the screens shows some police blockage, does this mean team versus matches, tuner vs cops? That would be epic. Honestly the cops in the series have always been easily fooled and avoidable. I want some intelligence behind my enemies.

Sadly,no cop vs racers. Maybe it will come but I doubt it. These cops got more intelligent this time,they just don't give up so they are a small challenge.

I will make a video and post it here.
