How do you know it won't be good? Things can change until 2011 you know. Maybe a whole different studio will take over or something.

I think each time they make a new COD game it gets more serious. COD3 use to be a right laugh, driving round in a motorcycle running people over. COD4 then had leader boards so every one was competing against each other, but it was new stuff and a good game, and people could always mess around on old school mode. MW2 has very little to mess around with, other than RIOT shields, but since it introduces lots of new stuff it still good game. But im sure the next COD game will be more violent and have less stuff to mess around in.

Im also surprised that it has come out this year, it has hardly been any time at all since the last game and I think there is still another map pack for mw2 in the making.

Well, whatever happens with this one, all I'm going to be looking for is another Nazi Zombies game (most likely won't be Nazis this time around, obviously; but that's not the appeal anyway). The only reason I bought World at War, and the three extra map packs was for the Nazi Zombies game. And I'd do it again!

TBH, I've never really gotten into the Call of Duty series (I was brought up around SOCOM), so I could care less about the main storyline or the multiplayer, or whether or not this game is going to be epic, or a total failure. Still, will be interesting to see what they do with this one.

Treyarch's better than IW, because at least they listen to the community. If you head over the the IW forums you'll find that the majority of the community is pissed off and tearing the forums apart. IW doesn't care.

Flat-out true. People asked for Zombies on WaW and they got Zombies. People asked for Zombies on MW2 or survival and they got jack-crap. IW are better at MP experience but Treyarch are better at forming their games around the audience. I wanted Handicaps in MW2 (please don't ask why xD), I did recommend it, but was there anything like that? Nope, the closest there was, was Death Streaks, and they're crap (Copycat is pointless, Painkiller is annoying, Martyrdom is useless, Final Stand is pointless...what was the other one? Can't remember, because it was pointless ). I'm, glad to know that Treyarch ARE removing Game-winning killstreaks, I'm sick of quik-scoping, then hearing some retarded, repetitive beep sound, notifying us that we're screwed to Kingdom Come, I just backed out when they activated Nukes....

Out of all, I'd like to see Treyarch bring a more enjoyable SP and MP experience, and give newcomers a chance to enjoy the game.

Personally, that means it might not suck...

I'm sorry, but the "Ramirez, do everything" attitude got on my nerves. AS well as the overdone "Gawwwd bless America!" campaign. Yes patriotism is nice, but it seemed to alienate me a little with all the drama around random buildings that I guess the Americans here would recognise like I would Buckingham palace...

Although I do like the irony that America is invaded due to terrorists affiliated to them attacking another country, when is you think about it - that's why we're in Afghanistan right now...

Yeah, the odd patriotic attitude always confused me with war games published by US companies. I get it - they're American, hence obviously the game inherits some the of the culture that produced it and whatnot.

At the same time though, you would expect these publishers to realise that the population of Europe is a hell of a lot larger (by about ~200 mil.) than the US Hence you would expect them to cater for the larger audience (larger $$$) rather than the smaller one [EDIT: That said though, I suppose they only target a few countries in Western Europe so pop ends up a lot smaller. But still]

But meh, still boils down to generic shooter games at the end of the day, which is why I'm still not a fan of this series (COD 1 got some play out of me though, purely for the decent Stalingrad campaign. But now they're no longer based in the past they can't really offer any interesting reconstructions)

That doesn't make any sense World at War/Nazi Zombies was made by Treyarch, and from what I'm understanding, so is Black OPS Unless I'm missing something?

I'm probably not going to get this game if all it has to offer is a Nazi Zombies reskin... But I'll look into it. I like COD overall and want to see where this goes.

I'm 100% sure there won't be "Nazi" Zombies.
But I bet there will be Zombunists or Vietnam Zombies.
I mean, if they didn't, there goes half the populatity of COD7.
