I was just listening to requiem for a dream, and started wondering what everyone's favourite theme/film/game trailer etc music is. In case you hadn't guessed mine starts with requiem for a dream, followed by "ain't no rest for the wicked" by cage the elephant (its from borderlands). and then it pretty much goes star wars music, avatar soundtrack, little shop of horrors- feed me Seymour and then the theme from battle royal. =)

Hmm...probably these:

5). 'Shotgun' by Inon Zur (Crysis)
4). 'Blow me Away' by Breaking Benjamin (Halo 2)
3). 'One Final Test' by Charlie Clouser (SAW II)
2). 'Killer Inside' by Hydrovibe [featuring Shawnee Smith] (SAW III)
1). 'New Divide' by Linkin Park (Transformers 2)

I can't exactly think of every single soundtrack I know, but they are my top ones .

I enjoyed the Mad World song that played in the commercials for Gears of War when it was coming out. I thought it was pretty haunting to hear that over the mayhem that was taking place on screen.

It's also an awesome film, the only song I recognize from that is "Switchback" by celldweller. They're a good band I like "own little world" by them, it's on XGRA which is my all time favourite racing game =)

LOL! I like that song, but I'm not a big fan of G.O.W.

I really like the title track on the Shawshank Redemption OST, along with 'Murder in four parts' on the Road to Perdition OST

Both of which are Thomas Newman, in fact

I'm the same way with Gears. I've got both, and beat them both, but mostly just to have and beat them. Not a huge fan.

As far as music, I also love the music in 28 days later(watched it again last night, and it reminded me). I also enjoyed the music in the trailer for Starship Troopers. I know it might be a bit silly, but I used to get goosebumps from listening to the music from the first Jurassic Park. I haven't seen the movie in ages, but I am still able to hum the theme song... Which I am doing right now.
