Way back. Resident Evil 1 for PS1 made me freak out every single time. Every turn, Every hall. Each time a zombie appears out of no where. Lifts up its hands and grown while walkin slowy towards me was wayy to scary. The Cutsence with da first zombie was da scariest of them all to me. When Resident Evil 2 was out. It seem more action then scary at first. That was until da zombies broke thru da window in the gun shop. Turned the game off and had nightmares of Resident Evil for weeks. I Finally beat RE2 for N64 and RE1 for PS1 a year later (because I lost the disc). I Will never forget da fear the old Resident Evil Games brought me when i was young. When RE3 came out. Nemesis always gave me a heart attack. After I beat All 3 RE games. The newer ones was alot less scary for me due to my age. Good Times...

I am always afraid of starting a game, blinking, 12 hours have gone by, and yet again I miss a friends wedding or something similarly important. Just one more level

I'm afraid of guys with masks on their heads with chainsaws coming from nowhere. And twin ladies with masks on their heads with chainsaws as well.

The original Half-Life startled me quite a few times. The first being the headcrab you encounter in the vent in the room that is flooded and the water electrocutes you. I got to the vent turned on my flashlight while a headcrab was jumping at me. I flung my mouse onto the floor and broke it.

I was also terrified in Resident Evil 2 when you are in the police station and happen to go into the interrogation room... and a licker jumped through the mirror/glass. My heart stopped. I also enjoyed being terrified in RE3 while being chased by Nemesis throughout the map. I do not like being chased.

I did not like The Thing, however. It made me too nervous and paranoid that at anytime, one of my teammates would turn into an alien and kill me.

Recently, as mentioned many times above, Dead Space creeps me out. It's the paranoia and character controls that get to me. Also, the environment is rather creepy and the space scenes where there is no gravity and everything is quiet is quite freaky.

My green thumb grew the tree my Trojan War horse was crafted from. With roses in our pockets we rally round the tombstones. Ashes to ashes, we all fall down.

Well, i dont know about you but bioshock was creepy, especially the fact that youre in an underwater utopia and theres no way out.
And the things that run on the ceilings

not to mention little girls with big arse needles, giant big daddys with death drills

just like this pic except pitch black with only movement noises and death voices. and about 15 of them.

Overall bioshock isnt the scariest but just the plain creepiest game ive played. Its messed up in alot of ways. Doom 3 gave me the most chills and shivers and frequent breaks to do something else.

Yeah I remember beating Ocarina of Time with my dad atleast twenty times, every time the spiders on the first area with the tree would scare me so bad! I would make my dad go through it, and I also HATED those re-deads.

I want coke, not Pepsi!

This one?

I hated him. One of the chapters have you making your way through a bed-maze, with him bursting through every single wall and ceiling vent there is. I once moved a bed to see him waiting for me on the other side, and I hit my Xbox power button in an instance. Shame that I had to start that chapter again after that .

Spider Splicers? They weren't that scary lol. The only games that almost painted my pants a brown, lumpy colour were either Dead Space or WaW's Shi No Numa Zombie map (a lot of ambushes there).

I think, to say the least, I'm scared of the game scenes where it's near pitch-black and you don't know what the hell'll happen next. And veering away from game-fears, SAW has managed to freak me out, not because of the traps, nor the storyline, nor the jumps, but Pigface, she/he always appears out of nowhere and it gives me the fear that they're waiting for me somewhere .

It's waiting for you...

Heh, guess so. I was more creeped out by the Big Sister in BS2 (lol, they didn't check their abbreviations xD), when they jump you out of nowhere, it was quite a bit of bravery for me getting the 'Dealt With Every Little Sister" achievement, although I did rape her (in game terms) with my drill (and yes, That's What She Said! ), and that would only last about 10 seconds before she was dead .

I think what actually scared me, to think about more of my games, was the pitch black scenes you get thrown into in F.E.A.R., with those freaky soul things coming at you. Funny thing was that I was out of ammo on all of my weapons and I was gonna pick up more ammo when I encountered one of the scenes xD so I just stood there and kinda lost 75 odd health, resulting in me surviving onto a string of about 3 health points .
