I don't have statistics for you, but it's a widely known aspect of it. Universities in general are balanced to have more women, but because NYU's in Greenwich Village, it's a popular pick for homosexuals looking to move to study in one of the centers of gay culture.

Here's a little piece from one of our newspapers talking about how difficult it is for girls to find straight guys and where to look for them:

The commenter who talks about NYU being a majority straight university is from the business school, naturally, which is not a very large part of the school population (Stern's tough to get into).

One of my roommates last semester was gay, and since he went abroad, the guy who replaced him described himself as bisexual. Out of the 30-something people living on my floor, there are 10 guys (one of which is a facilities manager who gets to rent his apartment for cheap in the dorm building). It's only a small sample, but ask any NYU student and they'll confirm the odds.

I thought being Bisexual was the hip new thing to do?, the only two girls i can stand to be around(one of ems pretty cool, likes cars, british comedy and much more) are pretty open about there "byness" im wondering weather to take it seriously or not.

Oh and jsut for the record, 2 girls are after me , and one of them says shes Bi

Got some roses on my doorstep last valentines day. Pretty cool... never found out who it was, but still cool

Aha, recently, I asked out this girl... and it turned out she was going out with another guy (we were in japan at the time). Two nights later (still in japan), she said that she had been thinking about breaking up with her boyfriend for a couple weeks before the trip (to japan ), and she wished she had. It took all my self control not to do a major fist pump right there.

only one girl said me "i like you" and few weeks later i realized thats because of i was doing her science project. it was really insulting... dont waste your time with girls if you are not looking for a serious realitionship.

Basically it's someone who likes people of the opposite gender AND their own gender.

Yeah, I had an ugly experience with a guy. He was married, had a kid, but he also liked his own gender. Some day he tried with me.
I have nothing against each others' sexual interests, but I'm 100% hetero, so it was a ugly experience.

As for the topic: just ask the one out that you like the most, and let the others down GENTLY. And, a friendly advice, don't choose only by exterior beauty, but rather by character and beauty.
